"Staff very friendly and helpful. Had good breakfast selection but not the highest quality of cooking. Themeat was a little bland flavoured. Great location for city centre . Would stay again."

"Well presented hotel in the heart of Sheffield. Rooms were a good size & was clean to a high standard, beds were modern & extremely comfortable. En suite was a decent size & shower was powerful although the temperature settings could do with adjustments. Noisy toilet flush with after noise echoing. Breakfast was delicious with options suited to all, hot self service breakfast, cereals, juices, toast with selection of spreads & meat & cheese. Bar open late & food available at bar or room service. "

"Room was clean but there was a very strong smell of smell of cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom vent, reported to reception and they did send someone up to investigate and then offered to change our room, no issue with new room although there was a lot of shouting/arguing/banging from other guests, when checking out we mentioned this to reception and the lady just smiled and said yes we were aware and it was reported to the police "

"The staff here are amazing and more than make up for the basic amenities. As a wheelchair user, rooms are on the small side. On the negative side, because this is an economy hotel, you literally get all kinds staying (including an idiot who pulled a fire alarm at 3am and another who was smoking pot in their room), but the staff were quick to address issues. The hotel is in city centre, right in the tram line, with easy walking distance to the bus and train stations, Sheffield Hallam and The Moor shopping. Meadowhall and The University of Sheffield are just a few minutes away by tram."
