「This is a lovely small hotel, with a great team of staff, every one of them were super friendly and helpful.
As a regular traveller I booked this hotel based on the photos and the previous reviews, so don’t be put of by the fact it is shown as a 2 star hotel, I cannot understand how that is the case, it was far nicer than many of the 3 & 4 star hotels I have stayed in.
Location is great, a few minutes walk to the town centre.

「Hotel Don Rodrigues is a great hotel just outside Tavira. It’s a 15 min walk into town but you do need to cross and walk alongside a busy road. Bolt taxis into town were about €3.50. Rooms were modern and nicely decorated and the whole place was very clean. It was great having a pool and the breakfast was really good. All the staff were great and I would certainly stay again.」

The restaurant for breakfast and dinner were brilliant. The location is perfect for walking Tavira. The room had a strange layout with some wasted space, but I imagine it made sense in the old days when that building was built. Maybe the kept their goat in that space!?
Our room was on the third floor in the elevator only went up to two!!!
