「I was greeted by the owner who was just delightful and so friendly. The room was clean and modernised (as best as country motels are!) and I was able to walk across the road to get dinner. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.」

「Its third visit in 13 years. We were lucky our room was available a little early. Thank you Julie. The rooms are large, comfortable with a great bathroom and spa bath. View out to the river, dividers between rooms for outside privacy. Next door to the tavern, enjoyed happy hour and went back for dinner. Food was great. Next time wanting a nice peaceful stop over will definitely book there again.」

The room was well laid out. The meals we had there were very good, Saturday night and Sunday lunch there was live music. We were a short walk from the beach. 「The room was a great size and comfortable. The property is very dated and tired, but it is functionally fine, especially for a short stay. We had a small issue with out room and the staff were EXCELLENT at fixing it immediately for us, despite it being after hours. Cannot fault their handling of the situation. As brand new owners they were very apologetic, however it was out of everyone's control. what was in their control is how they handled it, which was perfect. A credit to the property!」

We were right on the main road… our bedroom window looked directly on to the footpath of main road. Considering the emptiness of the park that night, I thought we could have been assigned a nicer spot.」
