"Staff at El Pueblo is always so friendly and accommodating. We received an upgrade just for asking. There happened to be a cancellation and we were given the upstairs room. Very pleased with the customer service. This is our home away from home when visiting Taos. Very quiet, always get a good nights rest and the breakfast is always warm (or cold if you like cereal and fruit). They have a very nice breakfast spread every time we have stayed here. From scrambled eggs and country potatoes, to bacon, salsa's and make your own breakfast burrito tortillas. I would recommend this hotel. It is a gem."

"The room looked nice and was as clean as it could be given the finishes. A/C unit was odd and I would not have been comfortable using it. The road to the entrance was very rough. Not sure of the immediate neighborhood. The reservation said check in was only from 3-6 and otherwise you had to call and coordinate with the sister property. Door and windows were old and a bit rickety. There was a very loud cat meowing outside the window on and off during the night. Very nice included breakfast. Not really as expected but good for a one night stay."
