"I stayed here a few years ago when it wasn’t that great of a hotel but I enjoyed it. It’s a lot cleaner. It’s been renovated and it’s a lot nicer no bugs nice and clean."
"The lady at the front desk was very sweet and greeted us with a smile and "Welcome" as we walked through the door. However the hotel is VERY VERY OUTDATED! Our room was clean, but the baseboards were thick with dust throughout the entire room. The wooden blunds also were dusty. The trim on tge boards up top were caked with dust and cobwebs.
It is a smoke-free hotel, but our floor stunk of pot terribly. We did bring it to her attention and she said she had another complaint as well, but she wad waiting for another staff person to show up for their shift so she wasnt leaving the front desk unattended.
The hot tub was out of commission. We were told it has been broke for 3 years and the owner didnt want to pay to fix it because of how much it would cost. So it just sits collecting dust and bugs.
The entire building smelled old and musty throughout. The life is gone from this hotel. We have stayed at other Stoney Creeks before and never had any problems.
This one is a eye sore and we would never recommend anyone to stay there. It's past due for a face-lift. If the owner can't afgord it, then time to sell it.
But tge front desk gal deserves an A+ in my opinion. She was great!!"

"The check in was chaos. They charged me for my daughter’s reservation even after I told them it was wrong. Will never stay here again!! Very disappointing!! Please do not stay here!!!"
"The stay was mostly good, but the vending machines were sold out and the ice machines either didn’t work or were empty.
The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good."
