"I asked all of the family members what they liked about the lodge so I could give you good feedback. The mattresses were liked and everyone slept well. The view was popular with all. My aunt liked her view from her window and we all liked the view from the deck. The hot tub was good and so great after a day of hiking. Having 3 bathrooms for 7 people was wonderful. That really helped a lot. The kitchen was so well stocked. Thank you for having syrup there! I didn’t bring enough and was so grateful you had more there. Thank you for the s’mores sticks. Thank you for plenty of bowls for salad, eggs, pancake mix. Thank you for the seasonings. We forgot salt and pepper. Thank you for the colander. We had plenty of seating to eat. Thank you for the towels. I appreciated the extra trash bags, the extra paper towels. The house is layed out very well for visiting. The firepit was great for s’mores. Thank you for the lighter fluid and matches. Thank you for having enough chairs at the firepit and on the deck . The thermostat worked great, house temperature was perfect, we didn’t have to adjust it. Thank you, Sarah. Your home was just lovely and we appreciate your sharing it."
Riverfront Tallulah Falls Cabin w/ Hot Tub!

"The house was great! The inside was very clean and had everything we needed, including a baby bed. When we checked in, there were a lot of spider webs on the exterior, but I sent an email, and they came the next morning and got them all down. (It’s the woods, spider webs happen). They were very responsive. I also mentioned that there didn’t seem to be much outdoor lighting, and they brought solar lights and installed them that same morning. It made all the difference. There was plenty of room in the house for our family of 7. We had ample room to spread out and have our own space without being crowded. We never even went in the loft. We spent most of our time on the deck. There was plenty of comfortable seating and tables and chairs so you could eat outside. The grill was nice and clean. We enjoyed making a fire by the stream and roasting hotdogs and smores while some fished. The hammock by the stream was also a nice treat. We had a lovely time :)"

"Everything was excellent in this property. Just one suggestion that if you could add some gaming equipment in the basement room, it would have been great for the kids. Like pool table or something like that"

"I was in the area for a family gathering in The Orchard Golf & County Club community. The Gatehouse is located about 1 mile from The Orchard's entrance gate so the location was perfect.When I booked the rental back in early March of 2026, the listing indicated that the rental did not have A/C. I debated for a while before booking but due to the location I decided to go ahead. Turns out that the listing was incorrect. The rental was airconditioned. This rental HAS fully modern A/C and and heating. The rental was very clean and comfortable and equipped with everything you need for your visit. Based on the guest book, the Gatehouse has been a rental for 3 years. It looks like it was built within the last year. Highly recommend this rental and will likely stay here again in for future family gatherings."

"Fantastic place to get away from it all. Close to town of Clayton for food and drinks. Can walk to panther creek falls hiking trail for a beautiful hike. Cabin was perfect and everything they said it was."
