「Access to the Schroon River was nice to cool off in, but overall the rental was not worth the money we paid. When we first arrived, there was garbage left over from previous guest. There were missing pans, so we had to borrow a pan from the general store. This property listing was very inaccurate. 「Lovely home, surrounded by trees and with beautiful view of the mountains. Close to fantastic hiking and solid options for eating out, and a quick drive to Lake Placid if you want a bit more variety or to do some shopping. This was the cleanest rental house I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve rented a lot over the years. The house was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The owners were thorough and responsive. Would love to return in the future!」

「We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely put on our list to stay again. I come to LP a lot for skating events and camps, and have stayed in many of the houses in the area. This one was very comfortable and had a great deal of space. My family of 4 and my dog enjoyed the space. The dog loved the soft carpet and the kids enjoyed sitting at the table and still being able to watch KPop Demon Hunters. The yard was also big enough to build a snowman. Thanks for such a nice spot.」
