"Travelled to Seoul first-time, with my family of 4 with 2 kids 10 and under. I debated between the Insadong and Myeongdong location of this hotel and I'm glad I selected Insadong. Still very central location, sandwiched between the Jogyesa Temple and Insadong Culture Street. It's also walking distance to Bukchon Hanok Village, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and several metro and bus stations. Closest metro station is Anguk, followed by Jonggak. Airport Limousine Bus station 6011 is also nearby. The hotel is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, convenience stores, and shops within walking distance.
It's very well maintained, staff is very helpful and there's a mall downstairs called Anyeong Insadong with a newly opened Olive Young. Unlike Myeongdong, it's peaceful at night, feels safe, and genuinely Korean. You can faintly hear the monks in the morning which is quite surreal. Would definitely stay here again if I have the good fortune of returning to Seoul."
