"The property has all the essentials for a self-catering stay. It is located roughly midway between Les Houches and Chamonix town and a short walk from frequent public / free ski transport and a nearby supermarket. With your own car, it is ideally central to access quite a number of ski fields depending on their particular weather and conditions each day. The apartment was warm, comfortable and more peaceful than Chamonix proper. Elisa, the concierge was particularly helpful and readily responded...

"Second ski trip to Les Houches. Staying here next to the Prarion gondola is the perfect location. Loved it, so convenient as situated at the bottom of the slope. Chalet was fabulous value for money, extremely clean and big in comparison to most places for similar budget. Excellent communication, smooth process from start to finish. Thank you and would definitely recommend. Perfect for 2/3 persons."

"We had an amazing stay and Wim was responsive and very helpful. That included having grab bars installed in one bathroom to accommodate a member of our party with limited mobility. The town of Les Houches was a perfect Alpine base, and the duplex was set up twitch everything we needed."

"We had a lovely break in Les Houches. Apartment is in an excellent location close to a bus stop and walking paths. Great views from the balcony. Apartment is well appointed and comes with parking. The garage is very narrow but is undercover. Have a lovely stay and the hosts are very helpful."

"Excellent location. We stayed here before and after doing the Tour du Mont Blanc. This was the perfect location because the AlbaBus dropped us off and picked us up to from Geneva Airport right next door to the hotel. Included breakfast was excellent and the staff were ver friendly and helpful. "

Big Sky Hotel & Spa

"The property is located in the most stunning area, within the foothills of Mont Blanc. You will not be disappointed with the view from the hotel, or the pool. We paid slightly more for a mountain view room which was impeccable. Hotel boasts complementary kids room with toys, foosball table, pool table, arcade games, a gym, the pool, sauna & jacuzzi. We decided to add breakfast both mornings which was really well stocked & free for our 3 year old & baby, it was €18 for adults. There's a shuttle from the hotel into Chamonix which we didn't use as we had our car, it's around a 5km drive and parking is fairly cheap on an evening. We didn't eat at the hotel on an evening as we arrived late one day, and there was only a BBQ option for the other night which we thought was pricey at €42 for adults, especially as I am vegetarian & there was no al la carte option. If we had to be really picky, we struggled to park a couple of times, but we were allowed to park in the bus parking instead."
