"This is a truly magical place. Tucked between tropical jungle and a stunning beach is a little oasis called Klong Jark Bungalows.
There my husband and I became members of a family and our departure ended with tears and hugs. I'm not normally someone who wants a lot of interaction with staff and things at hotels, I hate the feeling of being waited on. So when we figured out we were literally the only guests at the place, (Covid low season a large storm had just passed through) I worried...
"Friendly, almost family like atmosphere. There was (needed) renovations going on during our stay, but that didn’t matter too much.
We found breakfast a bit average and inconsistent but not for lack of trying and friendliness.
Overall a pleasant stay that could have been made perfect with a little more attention to detail (soap, lighter for candles provided in the room…. Just little things)

"The photos in the listing are very misleading compared to reality. The so-called lake is actually a swamp, and there is no beach access. The WiFi never worked despite repeated promises that it would be fixed "in 15 minutes." Since cell reception is also poor, this is not a suitable place for remote work.
