ElleEsse Apartment: Between Ortigia and the Archaeological Park. Two bathrooms, large living room
Welcome to the ElleEsse Apartment, located at Via Taro 7 in Syracuse! Located in a strategic and well-connected spot, the apartment is the perfect base for exploring all the city’s wonders, situated exactly halfway between the beautiful island of Ortigia and the charming Neapolis Archaeological Park. The Space. The apartment, bright and meticulously designed down to the smallest detail, offers ample space ideal for families or groups of friends seeking to travel in the utmost comfort. The living room: A large and cozy air-conditioned living room, stylishly furnished (including a flat-screen TV and a comfortable sofa) to offer you moments of pure relaxation after a day spent enjoying the sea and exploring the city’s cultural sites. It’s the perfect space to socialize, read, or plan your days exploring Sicily. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms. A large, comfortable, and spacious double bedroom that’s very bright thanks to a balcony and a large window (from which you can admire Ortigia’s most beautiful churches in the distance), featuring beautiful hardwood floors that create a warm and relaxing atmosphere, equipped with a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. The second double bedroom, equally comfortable, also features beautiful hardwood floors, a flat-screen TV, and air conditioning. This bedroom overlooks the building’s inner courtyard. Both rooms are furnished with new, functional, and modern-style furniture, comfortable double beds, and spacious closets, creating an intimate and restful atmosphere. The apartment has two bathrooms, located near their respective bedrooms; both are equipped with showers and all necessary amenities (hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, and clean linens) to ensure maximum independence and privacy for all guests. Additional Amenities. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a worry-free stay, thanks in part to a modern and functional kitchen equipped to meet every need. The Neighborhood and Location. The location is simply unbeatable. Right outside the apartment, you’ll find every kind of convenience and service at your fingertips: shops of all kinds, a bank, supermarkets, excellent restaurants, bars, and pizzerias, as well as paid parking. However, you won’t need to use a car for your daily needs. Thanks to its proximity to both the historic sights and nightlife of Ortigia and the classical monuments of the Archaeological Park, the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Lacrime, the catacombs, and the archaeological museum (unanimously considered one of the most important in the world), and the Basilica of Saint Lucy at the Sepulcher (home to Caravaggio’s famous painting “The Burial of Saint Lucy”), you can easily get around on foot, fully enjoying the authentic atmosphere of Syracuse. Another advantage is the proximity to bus stations (both city and intercity) and the train station. Thanks to these, you can take day trips to nearby cities of the Iblean Baroque—also UNESCO World Heritage Sites—such as Noto, Scicli, and Modica, or to nearby seaside resorts such as the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area and the beaches of Fontane Bianche or Arenella. The tourist tax for the City of Syracuse is 4% (up to a maximum of 5 euros per night per person for a maximum of 7 nights). Children under 14 are exempt.
