"Breakfast from 6am-9am, they had breakfast hot pockets (that you had to heat up in the microwave, fruits, cereal, milk and a few other small items. A gas station is with in walking distance. Pool was not open on our stay, we didn't ask when it would be open since we stayed one night. Staff was friendly only interacted with them during check in/check out, not more than 5 minutes. Room had a microwave and small fridge. Was quiet, nothing bad to report."

"This is a very good place to stay while visiting Marion NC. WE enjoyed the beautiful hiking path that starts right alongside the property. Plus, it was especially kind and helpful of the staff to allow us to leave a car on the property for a couple of extra nights without charge. Also, the area in back of the motel makes for a good place for the pup to walk."

"The house was nice enough. That wasn't the problem. The ad was misleading. We were 1.5 miles from the indoor and outdoor pools. There were no walking paths or sidewalks to the pool. The lake was not Lake Lure and we were also over a mile from it as well. The amenities were charged per person and we were charged for 3 full days even though we arrived after pool closing and had to check out by 10 on Monday. Pretty disappointed overall. Won't stay there again."

"During the week I stayed at the hotel, I developed a skin irritation on my body. I believe it was caused by the bed sheets, which were contaminated with bacteria. I took an antihistamine, and by the following week, I had recovered; I moved to another hotel and did not experience this problem again! I have never had this issue happen to me before!"
