"We had a large group of friends holiday with families. We rented the entire accommodation. It was clean and tidy and a great location. The views are amazing. A good communal area so we could all be together for cooking meals. The pool area was beautiful and clean. You do need a car for access as it is quite tucked away in the mountain. "Sizable villa perfect for our 3 families. The house had everything we needed and the views were amazing. We cooked a lot. The pool is a decent size for swimming. The village is quiet. The road access isn't for the feint hearted, the climb is steep and there are lots of blind corners, so we chose to get home each night before dark at 9pm but it didn't put us off - we liked the seclusion. Great area of Italy to visit Lucca and the surrounding hill top villages and towns."
