"Pros: location was central enough you could walk to different spots for food without having to uber or move your car. The hotel isn’t the most secure and faces the street but the security codes did help us feel a little safer. The room itself was cleaned. Cons: the arrival directions are outdated. It asked for parking and mentioned a $35 charge if I opted in. I said yes but then was instructed to park at a lot across the street. There was no charge but very strange to even include that in the instructions. It also said to upload a photo of your vehicle to the text message thread even though they’re not even offering valet. The parking lot they mentioned did not include overnight parking and closed at 8pm, but the instructions said to notify the lobby so they can give us a clicker to get our car past the closing time. The address that was provided was for a sketchy parking structure behind the actual hotel. You’re better off parking in the lot across from you and we had to go a few blocks out for overnight parking. The whole thing was weird. The building itself is very old and run down. It was as clean as it could be which I was pleased with but there’s light strips that are peeling off and random stains on the walls. There was also no breakfast provided or mentioned when we checked in. Come to think of it no amenities were mentioned when I checked in. They just told me where my room was and that was that. It’s fine for if you need a place to sleep at."

"Had a nice stay at Double Tree Hilton! The location is great and is a short walking distance to Little Tokyo. Also the hotel lobby gives out free warm cookies!!!"

"The breakfast was well prepared and tasty. We had a bartender on two evenings who was very knowledgeable about scotch whiskey, which is quite unusual. The limo drivers were very friendly and do an excellent job. The front desk employees were also very helpful and knowledgeable. We had a great 4 night stay."

"This is not a good hotel for lone travelers. The area is not safe in the evening to walk alone. On Sunday the cafe/lounge is closed so your only option is the convenience store with nothing more than chips and candy bars. What breakfast? The traffic/construction and school noise right across the street is pretty jarring. The room was very clean albeit, smelled of smoking. The sundries were very nice and the shower was great.."

"The main hotel lobby is stunning and very radiant but once you get to the elevators they look outdated and the hallways to your room look even more outdated just a plain red carpet and white walls. The suite room is very spacious but the only down fall the restroom/shower is very big out dated. You can see how everything is wearing down and the restroom needs more amenities. I wish I would have taken pictures to show what I’m talking about. The view is very nice and the bed is comfortable along with the big sofa."
