About this property
Ground floor apartment close to town centre
This property is ideally located to visit Shakespeare's town and all the historic houses associated with that time. As you walk into the street you look onto the back garden of Shakespeare Birthplace, just a stones throw from the town center. The town is full of fine restaurants and bars making a warm welcome before visiting the three theaters located in the town. This spacious property was renovated to offer a well equipped modern kitchen while retaining some of the Victorian features. This property is ideal for elderly and those having difficulty with stairs as well as families visiting Stratford to soak up the culture and enjoy the local attractions. The property is located on the ground floor with a single step up to the kitchen and a very small step down into the master bedroom. The property also benefits from a large double ended bath or if you prefer you can use the step in shower cubicle or the wet room ensuite shower. We are only 150 yards from the town, we are positioned on a cobbled street and with that parking is restricted to residents or 1 hour paid via the app. For your convenience we retain a parking space on a driveway in the next street, once unloaded your car can be parked on the driveway throughout your stay, or you can come and go as you please. Blue badge holders can park in any bay on street for unlimited time with no charges. There is also one designated disabled bay on Great William Street and several more on Tyler Street, the nearest council car park is on Windsor Street where disabled visitors can park for free. Globe House is a spacious ground floor apartment with its own private courtyard garden that benefits from being sheltered and also catching the sun in the later part of the day. The courtyard can be accessed from the dining area, the kitchen and the master bedroom.

We have stayed here several times before and as always found the accommodation clean, warm and well equipped.Location is good for shops, theatre, eateries etc and most importantly for us, it is accessible for our family member with limited mobility.Lisa is easy to contact and nothing is too much trouble for her. Would definitely recommend.

This property was within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and pick up locations for tours. The property itself was lovely and just what we needed and wanted! We definitely recommend this property!
This property is spacious and extremely well equipped. The furniture is in excellent condition and comfortable and the bedding and towels are adequate.
The property is also in a very convenient location.
I loved it so much that when my plans changed I am going right back! The flat actually seems bigger than the pictures, beautifully decorated, quiet, easy walk to everything you need, lovely host. I have been traveling for 7 weeks now and this my favorite so far.
Lovely apartment, clean and tidy, great location and good communication with the owner. This property is also suitable for guests with limited mobility -a big plus for us. Thank you.
This property exceeded our expectations. It was warm, well-equipped and definitely centrally located. Arriving to find a large fully decorated Christmas tree was a delightful surprise. Our host answered questions promptly and there was a helpful folder of advice. We will be returning to this absolute gem.
This great flat was just steps away from Shakespeare's Birthplace - we could see it from our front step! We could shop, dine and immerse ourselves in all things Shakespeare without need of any transportation.
We were very impressed with the size and comfort of the apartment. Also, the location for being in Stratford-Upon-Avon could not be better. The main part of the town and Shakespeare's birthplace are across the street with a pedestrian stop light just there. Other lovely towns in the Cotswolds are only a few miles away.
Communication with the host was great and everything we needed was in the very clean apartment.
Highly recommend this place for a stay in the Cotswolds.
Great apartment in wonderful location. Comfortable with excellent facilities. Car parking on neighbouring street caused no issues. Slight issues getting central heating to work. Issues with TV, couldnt access apps to be able to watch prime, netfix erc. coildnt access
We stayed for 3 nights for a mother daughter weekend. Extremely impressed with the accommodation. Spotlessly clean and everything we needed for a fab getaway. Location could not have been better - as you come out the front door you can see the back of Shakespeare’s family home. Very close to all amenities, including the RSC theatre and butterfly farm (definitely both worth a visit!). The Victorian Christmas market was also just a stone’s throw away. Even though parking wasn’t directly outside of the property, it was only a couple of minutes walk along the canal which was lovely. The whole weekend completely exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great apartment in a wonderful location.
To stay or not to stay… The answer to that question is an unequivocal yes!!!

Great location
It was a large two bedroom. The place looked as if it had been recently remodeled. Plenty of room. And it is very close to all of the central Stratford tourist areas. Really within walking distance. The reserved parking space is a little further than the "next street". It's maybe a five minute walk each way. It was nice that there was ice already in the freezer. I was able to make more quite quickly using the ice trays. It also has a large eating/dining area. I think I threw the host for a loop by booking it only two days before arrival. The initial check-in information had the wrong code for the key holder. The wifi access information was also wrong. I received correcting information for the key code a day or so later. I had to determine the correct wifi information by looking it up on the back of the wifi unit inside the apartment.
