My husband and I stayed at Madame C for 3 nights. We loved the theme - different, fun. Our room was large by European standards, the bed and pillows were comfortable. We stayed in the Mado room. Everything was clean. We had a pretty view from our windows. One needs to be careful getting in and out of the tub/shower - the side is high. Just take your time. The service was impeccable. We will stay there again.
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in from check in to check out. My room was phenomenal. So luxurious and well appointed. I loved the personalised note on arrival and delicious cookies I ate at the restaurant twice which meant cocktails first. Bar / restaurant staff were amazing. I appreciated being redirected to a better wine choice that specifically matched my meal. The food itself was sublime. I hope to stay again at this unbelievable hotel
It’s an experiment , beautifully touched by every detail. Very friendly staff , clean and attentive.
The room temperature was ok, but the bathroom felt cold.
The bar and the cocktails are very tasty and special.
The location is great!
The rooms were gorgeous. The staff was lovely. The wifi was easy to use. It was special, unique, the staff was so kind and helpful. It was impeccably decorated with that special French eye for designIt was special, unique, the staff was so kind and helpful. It was impeccably decorated with that special French eye for design (actually House of Hackney).
It was a bit dusty around the head of the bed- I think it was just the age of the building. All very minor things. The only reason I didn't say 5 start on amenities was because we only needed a sit down shower- it was very good but it needed a glass or barrier to prevent the whole bathroom from getting wet- The cleaning person understood the need for more towels right away. It was very hot, and the ac struggled to cool the room- but it worked- hard to deal with the heat waves in general in this area. A micro refrigerator would have been greatly appreciated. The coffee machine was very good, but needed a drawer/ tray to pull out because it leaked water in the closet and it was difficult to see.
The location was excellent. I would absolutely stay there again. Thanks very much for making our stay special. I'm so glad we decided to spend the extra money to stay here instead of the big chain hotels. Also no one mentions, that this is around the corner of the laverie- laundromat for the area. Extremely helpful.
Such an amazing hotel - hipster vibe and amazing cocktails at the bar. Beautiful decor - truly one of a kind rooms. The staff were warm and friendly - and their service was impeccable. Highly recommend this hotel for travelers who are looking for an elevated experience at a reasonable cost
