La Place de la Cathédrale - Superbe appt face à la Cathédrale

Enjoy an exceptional view of Alsace's most famous landmark. Located on the cathedral square, in an exceptional Renaissance half-timbered building dating from 1567 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this large 120 m² apartment has been tastefully renovated and decorated to offer you an extraordinary experience.
This superb 4-person apartment offers a magical view of the Cathedral's facade, day and night (1st floor with elevator). You can enjoy the light show on the façade in summer, or the Christmas market on the square in winter, from the comfort of your sofa in the living room. Bed linen and towels provided.

The accommodation comprises
- A fully-equipped kitchen with recent appliances
- An open-plan living room with sofas, TV and coffee table
- A comfortable master suite with TV, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, electric double bed with separate mattress and a bathroom with walk-in shower. A 1-person convertible armchair is also available.
- A bedroom with electric double bed and TV, plus a large wardrobe with full-length mirror and chest of drawers. The stained-glass windows (double-glazed) overlook a particularly quiet courtyard.

La Place de la Cathédrale is located in the heart of Strasbourg. It forms the historic center of the city, with some buildings dating back to the Renaissance. This district is also home to the famous Notre-Dame de Strasbourg cathedral, completed in the 15th century. Ideally located, you can walk to most of the city's tourist and cultural attractions. A lively shopping district, you'll be able to take full advantage of the festive season!

Transport
- It's not possible to park on the square, and it's difficult to park in the surrounding streets of the historic center (complicated access, high rates, limited duration).
- The Place de Gutenberg parking lot is the nearest, a 2-minute walk away (€44/24h). Parking Austerlitz is a little further away, a 6-minute walk, but much cheaper (€20/24h).
- Streetcar: "Langstross Grand' rue" stop is a 5-minute walk away. From here, you can reach the main station in around 7 minutes on streetcar lines A or D. The "Homme de Fer" stop is a 6-minute walk away. From here you can reach the European Parliament in 15 minutes and other tramway lines.

By car:

- It is not possible to park on the square and hardly in the surrounding streets of the historic centre (complicated access, high prices, limited duration).

- The Place de Gutenberg car park is the nearest, a 2-minute walk away (44€ / 24h).

- The Austerlitz car park is a little further away, a 6 minute walk, but much cheaper (20€ / 24h).

By public transport:

- The nearest tram stop is "Langstross Grand' rue" which is a 5 minute walk from the accommodation. From there you can reach the train station in about 7 minutes by tram lines A or D.

- The tram stop "Homme de Fer" is a 6-minute walk from the flat. From there you can reach the European Parliament in 15 minutes and other tram lines.

On foot:

As the accommodation is located in the hypercentre, you will be within walking distance of most of the tourist and cultural places of the city (Palais Rohan, Maison Kammerzell, Office du Tourisme, etc...).
