The staff was very friendly and the room spacious. As hotel guest we had free access to the spa (sadly we were too early in the year for the outdoor pool to be open yet). The area feels very safe as there are many embassies around. The Orangerie Park is in perfect walking distance and great for a leisurely stroll. The hotel offers a great list of recommended restaurants in the area and there is quite a lot of street parking available all around the property, as well as a few charging stations for electronic vehicles in short walking distance.

Valentines day

The hotel is within walking distance to the city center. This didn't bother us, but it's worth setting aside time for the 20-minute transition. The breakfast is really good and a strong recommendation for it! The outdoor pool is closed in winter. The small spa inside is atmospheric and does its job well. The hotel rooms were clean and the beds were good. The minibar's selection is poor, and since the hotel does not have a restaurant, it is recommended to bring something to snack on

Terrific. Clean, spacious, modern and quiet. The breakfast was high quality. I recommend people take it as there isn't much around for dining. The only small thing I would have liked was a cooler temperature in the room. My room was 23C and there was a digital thermostat but it didn't do much and when I inquired it was recommended I open window. When I went to breakfast they had all the doors open to the outside as the place was so warm so I recommend just bringing down the temperature. Otherwise place was great.

Nice room and nice hotel close to the Council of Europe. Convientient in that way, but a bitt dull and boring area. Not many restaurants and bars. Unfortunately very unfriendly and unhelpful staff: I asked for wake up call at 6AM. Not possible, since there was no one in reception before 7AM. I then asked for 7AM. Not possible, as the first person on job had to attend other things that early. Hotels.com Gold service told me "Guranteed 2 hours late check out". The hotel said "No, not possible since it is fully booked the day after". No restaurant or bar late in the evening/night. Not impressive.

Upon arrival we were told that breakfast and parking were not included even though I paid extra to Expedia in order to have Breakfast. The receptionist demanded that I show him the email that was sent to me for confirmation. To my surprise it did not say breakfast was included even though I did pay for it on Expedia website when I booked the room. Parking is self parking on the street and not their parking and this is also confusing. So we did not get free breakfast and had to struggle to park outside the hotel. I do t know if this is Expedia’s fault or the hotels miss communication with clients. I did tell the receptionist that I am a VIP gold member and if there is a chance to upgrade my room. He said that there was none. Not event the next few days as I booked for 4 nights. He continued to say that I’ve already asked for a room far away from the elevator . The access to the room was exhausting because we had to carry the luggage to the third floor by the elevator then carry them to the 4th floor. The access was very narrow. The room was tight and the shower drain was blocked. There was no shower gel. They said that they did not have someone to clear the drain and the next day, again no technicians and the receptionist tried to clear the drain. The bedding / pillows were uncomfortable. There was no milk or cream for the coffee in the room and coffee was decaf only. We had to go downstairs to get the regular coffee and wait until the morning to get the cream from reception

Schöne, individuelle Unterkunft (kein typischer Hotelbau, eher umgebautes & renoviertes großes Anwesen/Villa). Zimmer 131 ist eine Suite im Obergeschoss mit sehr bequemem Bett, großem Bad mit Dusche und Badewanne, riesigem Balkon. Sehr leckeres Frühstück. Äußerst angenehme, ruhige Lage im Botschaftsviertel, nah eines Parks, und trotzdem fussläufig nur ca. 20-25min von Altstadt/Kathedrale entfernt. Kostenfreies Parken in ca. 5 Gehminuten Entfernung. Einzig der Wellnessbereich hat nicht ganz überzeugt: sehr klein, beengt und nicht besonders einladend, um sich dort lange aufzuhalten.

Wir haben die Übernachtung abgebrochen weil wir uns absolut unwohl gefühlt haben. Es fing an, dass unser Zimmer direkt neben der Rezeption, was dazu führte dass ausnahmslos jeder Gast und Mensch der rein und raus kam aufgrund des extrem hellhörigen Zimmer gehört wurde. Privatsphäre gleich null! Die Krönung des ganzen war aber dass wir ein Zimmer für Rollstuhlfahrer bekommen haben. Es machte einen Eindruck dass man im Krankenhaus ist und nicht in einem 4 Sterne Hotel für knapp 600€ pro Übernachtung. Ganz schlimm…. Wir haben den Aufenthalt abgebrochen und sind lieber die halbe Nacht wieder nach Hause gefahren als und dem extrem negativen Umfeld zu bleiben.

Ich habe das Hotel über EXPEDIA DE gebucht. Suchkriterien waren eine gute Bewertung sowie 4-5 Sterne in Straßburg. Ebenfalls war mir sehr wichtig eine Garage oder wenigstens ein abgeschlossene Parkplatz, da ich ein hochwertiges Auto fahre. Daher bin ich auf dieses Hotel gekommen. Bei Ankunft stellte sich heraus, dass das Hotel entgegen der Beschreibung wieder Tiefgarage noch abgeschlossenen Parkplatz hat auf meine Bitte die Reservierung dann zu stornieren wurde frech geantwortet: ich muss mich an Expedia direkt wenden. Man selber könnte da gar nichts machen. Daraufhin gelangte ich nach 20 Minuten Warteschleife am Telefon auf eine Internetseite, die mir leider nur die Antwort gab: Stornierung nicht möglich! Ich bekam dann im Hotel ein Zimmer im Keller mit Blick auf einen Erd, weil es roch muffig, da das Zimmer wohl längere Zeit und gelüftet gewesen ist. Wer auf die Idee gekommen ist, das Hotel mit vier Sternen zu bewerten, ist mir ein Rätsel. Alles in allem der schlechteste Hotelaufenthalt für über 200 €, den ich je hatte. Dazu die Unflexibilität von Expedia. Ich habe meinen Account dort nun gelöscht dem Hotel werde ich auf Google DE eine ähnliche Bewertung geben wie hier!

Der Empfang war sehr freunflich, unser Zimmer etwas klein aber okay, Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und angenehm, Pool mit kleinem Garten entdpannend und gepflegt. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel in die Stadt in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Würde dieses Hotel wieder wählen.

Dejligt hotel

Flot hotel og venligt personale. Dejlig pool, men desværre en del myg herude. God morgenmad og fint værelse. Hyggeligt og trygt område omkring ambassader og med en park lige i baghaven.
