"Check in with Sarah was not the usual for us. She was very deadpan and it seemed like we were interrupting her. She showed no emotion, was very slow, and left us wondering what she was doing in the service industry. Obviously not too happy about her job. Enjoyed our hot tub in the evening but when we went to the pool in morning there were no towels available. I went to the front desk and they said they would get some to us right away. After swimming for a half hour and a ten minute soak, still NO towels. We dripped all the way up to our room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Just a couple items that we had not encountered on previous stays. Still our number one choice in Vancouver. "

"Well...the pool and hot tub were not working and that was NOT in the booking description. Which was really disappointing. We really looked forward to the pool. But, even if it was open, the hours were just terrible. 3:30 pm to 7:30pm??? WTH... The room was clean. The sink dripped water though and so did the bath tub faucet. They even had signs on to be aware of water usage... The breakfast...again with the horrible hours. Starts at 0730??? IDK. That might work for some travelers but not us. Out the door at 0730. Front desk personnel were great! No problems there. Bedding was clean. But the whole place needs a makeover. Threadbare is what my mother would call it."

"Check in was easy and fast however when we arrived we found out both the pool and hot tub were broken. No mention before arrival. Night 2 the room next door was very loud. At 930pm we called the front desk to ask what time quiet time was. The front desk staff said there was no quiet hours so they would not send someone up to ask the loud party to quiet down. At 12:30 we knocked on the loud room door and they still didn't quiet down. Not until 130am did their party stop. Breakfast day 1 was ok. Day 2 it was cold. But there was plenty. There was construction in the parking lot/outside which blocked off a lot of parking. People were smoking Marijuana by the front entrance. Hotel needs a makeover for sure. Staff had poor attitudes and did not care that we were unhappy with our stay."
