"We had a pretty terrible experience here and I want to warn you that you might be in for a tough go if you choose this motel. I checked in with my 7 year old and our dog. The building itself is a bit run down and the walls in the corridors are in bad repair. The room had dried dog feces in the corner. The lamp flickered constantly. The TV remote was missing. I requested a new room. In the new room, the shower was broken. The 3rd room had an unexplainable wetness on the carpet. We couldn't take our shoes off while walking around. At this point, after schlepping our bags around 3 rooms, it was already late and after having driven 6 hours already, after notifying the staff, I decided to just get some sleep. I asked the staff to refund the pet fee and discount me 50% of the fee. They agreed to this but only gave a 25% discount (and refunded the $25 pet fee). I would not stay here in the future under any circumstances."

"Great stay at Raiderland Rest Stop! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The layout worked perfectly for our group, and having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms made it easy for everyone to spread out and relax.The location is excellent — very close to campus and convenient to everything in Lubbock. Check-in was simple, communication with the host was great, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

"We had a great time on this trip in Lbk. This home was quite lovely and extremely clean. Our main concerns are cleanliness and safe. This home was both plus more. New and nice neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable. We didn’t cook there but we did have coffee in the mornings and in the evening we played games and had take out. We were celebrating our son’s 30th birthday so it was a perfect gathering place for all of our family. Loved the large dinning table for dinner and card games. Also great floorplan/layout for families. For some this neighborhood is prolly too far from most places in town but our son lives just down the road so it was the perfect area for us. Overall very nice home. "
