「The house is very cute. It has a lot of character. It’s a proper log cabin. It had everything we needed to cook and have a nice weekend. It’s in a great location with access to the water. The loft is very cool but also very high. It was not a good option for a small child but the downstairs bedroom was perfectly adequate instead. We had a lovely time.」

「Not many Motels are excellent but this one was way above what we expected. Private outdoor seating for each room. Nice bathroom and great kitchette with a decent size mini fridge/freezer was a nice surprise. We were greeted with s'mores 'round a campfire on Friday night. Come on that's cute as heck. I heard from a reliable source that the place is undergoing "upgrades". We didn't hear a thing.」

「The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The location convenient, allowing us a stop nearly exactly 1/2 way between our previous stop and home. Only issue: We were hoping for a ground-floor, no-stairs entrance to the room and unfortunately, we didn't realize that the ground-floor room we reserved was not actually a no-stair access room. We can do stairs, but we use wagons to transport our luggage and coolers when we travel so stairs, even just two or three...
