"I have so many pictures of the room having holes in the walls, jacuzzi had stuff floating in it and jets didn’t work. There was pink hair everywhere. "The bed was good. Toilet seat slid around almost fell off. Had to move the fridge to have a n outlet for the coffee pot. TV needed a pin to get service, called the help number they did not know what it was. Swimming pool was not accesibles was not told until the day before my reservation."

"Don't rely on the photos. Stay for the ice cream shop and the beautiful lake. If the manager spent some time fixing up the space or cleaning instead of sitting outside yelling at guests, it would probably be a nicer atmosphere. Second time coming here, have recommended to friends and family. I understand that the property is old, but that doesn't excuse the fact that it was filthy. Spots on sheets, had to wear sandals in the shower for how nasty the bathrooms were."

"When we arrived to check in we were notified by the staff that we’d have to change cabins the next day. They said it’s because the resort is a timeshare and the owner wants to use the cabin we’re staying in the next day. They said they’d move us to cabin 13. We asked why we couldn’t go to cabin 13 and they said because it’s not clean yet. I suspect that we were supposed to be in cabin 13 originally but they didn’t get it clean in time. This made our two night stay not so relaxing. We already had to navigate around some events we had to attend, and then we had to take the time to move into a second cabin the next day, including unloading and reloading the fridge. You’d think they would try to make up for this inconvenience, but no, they only offered to allow us to cancel our stay and find somewhere else to stay last minute."

"We were in town for a family reunion and loved this cabin for a home base! The cabin is fully stocked with towels, cleaning supplies, games, and lake “toys”. And as a family that sleeps best cool, we appreciated the very efficient AC for an excellent night’s sleep!"

"Beautiful lakefront property. Enjoyed our one night stay in the Mission Point section. Would request first floor next time in this section if traveling with young children or a senior as there is no elevator. Very nice updated unit overlooking the lake on the 2nd floor with a huge balcony. We enjoyed visiting the smaller beach in the Mission Point section and getting drinks from the indoor bar in the restaurant right next to the beach. We liked exploring all of the different sections and could easily spend several days enjoying all of the different onsite activities. The Strawberry Ridge section pool could use some updating. The children's wadding pool had a strange color and the whole pool area could use some renovations. The other outdoor pool near the lobby is beautiful, but did not have a wading pool for our little one so we did not use this. Good food onsite. Typical prices for large resorts in northern Minnesota. Very friendly staff. Looking forward to future stays!"
