「Spent a week here. The cottage was comfy, spotless, high end finnish. Bed was comfy, nice quality towels, powerful shower lots of hot water. Really quiet off the beaten track. About 8 mins walk is a pub called the hare and hounds, really welcoming, does great food and will do you a takeaway. Would go back again」

「This property and its host are simply outstanding. Located in the North Yorkshire countryside, the property is a converted barn, adjacent to the main farmhouse. While retaining the charm of the old structure, it has thoroughly modern kitchen and bathrooms. The is an en-suite bedroom on the ground floor as well as an en-suite bedroom upstairs. The upstairs bedroom and bath open to a small sitting area that overlooks the living space below. The main living area has a large television mounted...

「The location of the cottage is excellent, right next to the river Esk and on a very quiet holiday park (in April anyway). There is an amazing viaduct over the river where there is bungy jumping every couple of weeks during the summer and you can walk over it into Whitby which is only 30 mins away on foot. The pool is NOT 24 hrs as advertised and you have to pay. The property can be a bit difficult to find because the name plaque of the plot is covered by an overgrown hydrangea. If you use what 3...

「There's so much to like about this property and it certainly had very high standards when it was initially designed and refurbished. However it does not maintain the high level of ambition of being a high-end holdiay apartment. Blocked gutters are causing a damp shower room, maintenance issues such as boiler constantly cutting out leaving no hot water or heating. Small maintenance issues, rudimentary cleaning and cheap mattresses, where a topper wouldn't go a miss, leave a disappointment. It is...
