The hotel caters to groups/small tour buses, but then, most Portree hotels probably do as well. Dinner reservations in town are hard to get, so book in advance.」

「This was the best stay we’ve had on our Scotland trip. We had a sea view which was gorgeous, there are sheep everywhere which was a highlight, and they are quiet at night (in case you are wondering). The breakfast was included and had many delicious options. We ate at the restaurant for dinner as well and enjoyed all of our meals. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. 「We stayed on the Isle of Skye for a week at 6 Knott which was obsoletely idea for exploring the island. It's located just a 15 minute drive north of Portree (the main town) making it very central and accessible to most areas of interest. The cottage is located on a very quiet lane with views over the hills and the loch. It has a secure garden which was great for the dog.
