Privacy! 4 bed/2 bath Home with Private Pool

Come and enjoy complete seclusion in our lovely 4 bedroom, 2 bath home located in the established St. Clair neighborhood on Saint Simons Island. You'll see when you arrive why we call it "Privacy Please". Once you start down the private driveway, you will feel like you are in a world of your own. You have complete privacy from the street and neighbors.

As you enter this beautiful home, you are immediately welcomed to a super-comfortable and nicely furnished open living room. The tv in the living room is a Smart TV. The flow of the living area extends to the dining room and kitchen space! Plenty of seating at the dining table for a family gathering. For quick bites or breakfast, there are a couple of bar stools for convenience. Just off the well-stocked kitchen, you will find a sweet cocktail bar area. You will enjoy taking the cocktails out on the large screened porch complete with a large table and plenty of chairs.

Also located on the main living level are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a King bed and a TV with a Firestick and the Xfinity App. The second bedroom has a Queen bed. There is one shared bathroom in the hall with a nice walk-in shower and a door leading to the back yard and pool. The laundry room is also located on the main living level with outside access.

The second level of the home also has 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a King bed and a TV with a Firestick and the Xfinity App. Just off the king bedroom there is a private office space which includes an additional monitor for those who need to work remotely and an extra large closet. The second upstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds with the ability to be converted into 4 twin beds. A perfect room for all the kids to enjoy! In addition, the second level has a shared bathroom in the hallway between the 2 bedrooms with a large walk in shower and double vanity.

Outside is where the magic continues. Enjoy the long summer days in your own very private pool. If you start at the beach then head to the pool, you will find the hot and cold outdoor shower a blessing! When the nights get cooler, unwind with family around the fire pit or enjoy outdoor cooking on the gas grill. There's also a cornhole set for you to enjoy! We even have a Bluetooth speaker (which must be kept in a covered area of porch or indoors).

For those rainy days, there is a selection of books and puzzles for your enjoyment!

The pool can be heated or cooled for an additional charge of $400.

• Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (10 persons).

Wonderful house with lots of space

I had a wonderful stay with my family at this house. The bedrooms and layout were great. I did pay to have the pool heated for my 2 small grandchildren, as it was early April. The screened porch was used a lot and the porch swing was a very nice touch. The property is just beautiful, which is why I picked this home. The lush greenery made you feel you were in your own little paradise. A very wonderful stay!

Nice property but needs better maintenance

The house is definitely private. We didn't see or hear any neighbors or traffic which was very nice! The interior of the house is as represented with spacious rooms, but it isn't well-equipped (no tongs, salt & pepper, etc and there were only a few bath towels and some had stains. The outside areas were not very clean. Lots of yard debris which filled the pool skimmers completely, and lounge chairs were broken with screws sticking out, while plastic chairs were filthy and unusable, so we had to sit on the ground. Grill was dirty also. There are nicer properties elsewhere at a better price.

Amazing vacation!

The property is just as described in the listing, very clean, very peaceful and they had everything there that we needed. We really enjoyed the great pool, and the owner even paid for an extra pool cleaning because we were there for nine days. We will be returning for sure! Family Friendly Island

I should have known when this listing hadn’t had any reviews since six months previous that it hasn’t been stayed at recently. A lot of the issues we experienced could have been avoided if a thorough walk through of the place had been done previous. For the amount of money paid per night once fees, pet fee.. fees to heat the pool.. we expected a flawless experience. The pool was filthy when we got there and the drain was completely blocked with leaves and debris. They did come out to clean it quickly, but considering the pool was the primary reason for choosing the home this was disappointing to walk in to. The second issue was the WiFi which was not set up at all and not checked prior to check in to make sure it was working. We can survive without iPads and other electronics that required WiFi, but the thermostat required WiFi to work so going over 24 hours without the ability to regulate the temperature in the house was frustrating. Other miscellaneous issues were just none of the tv’s being plugged in prior to stay. One of the tv’s had a fire stick, but no adapter to plug it in so we had to purchase one of those to watch tv on that tv. One tv wasn’t plugged in and the third tv required unplugging everything and plugging it back in to get the cable to work. These are things of course that don’t ruin a stay, but they are annoyances that could have been avoided with a little care prior to stay especially for the money that was a splurge for our family. The house is definitely spacious and can fit and sleep 6-8 comfortably, but the living room space doesn’t match. There is a small couch where there should be a sectional to accommodate the amount of people the house advertises it sleeps. We only had two adults and two small children and still in the evenings one or both of the kids had to lay on the floor. The neighborhood was great. The property was secluded and there were no issues with the property or island. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could want and the washer and dryer and other appliances worked very well. The showers were really nice and relaxing. All in all it was a great time with family, but would not choose this property again.
