Beautiful Family Home with Swimming Pool

Hodnett Cooper is proud to present this wonderful Island cottage. Located just steps from the Village area you can walk to shops, restaurants, the Pier, lighthouse, and more. This four bedroom, three bath home is nicely furnished and features a fabulous screened pool are complete with a built in gas grill and bar area. Great for outdoor living and snacking around the pool area

The first level has a large living space open to an upscale kitchen complete with granite countertops and custom cabinetry. A casual dining table is part of this open space as well. A more formal, larger dining table is located outside of the kitchen space. Downstairs has hardwood floors throughout. The back of the house faces beautiful tree laden Neptune Park.

Upstairs are 3 additional bedrooms plus another large living area with another flat screen television. Great for game day or just family members to gather for a night of movies!

A double car garage is available for parking. The garage offers a 220V outlet EV charging as well.

Pets are accepted for a $150 non-refundable fee

During the summer season, this residence may require a 7-night minimum and may require a specific check in day of the week.

This was a great house! Clean, spacious, lots of amenities. Location is perfect. There is a playground literally almost in the backyard. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and sightseeing areas. Beach is super close - we easily walked to the 9th street public entrance, but east beach is a 5 minute drive). Pool was perfect, and we loved having the grill and fridge by the pool! Lots of games, puzzles, and books for in house activities. Kitchen had plenty of glassware, dishes, cookware, etc. we are already talking about a trip next year at this house!!!

Best house and location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Labor Day weekend stay at 607 Neptune Way in St. Simons, GA. The house was very spacious and located conveniently to shops, restaurants, pickle ball courts, and the beach. The walking and bike trails were just on the edge of the neighborhood. We loved the pool and surrounding views with live oaks and Spanish moss, so picturesque. Great holiday getaway for our family!

Lots of space for all

This place has it all for a family to relax. Plenty of room for each to have their space. Screened in heated pool just the right size for the kids and an outdoor kitchen to boot. as an added bonus there is a park out the back door with basket ball, tennis and pickle ball courts that are well maintained.

Great house with plenty of room

The house was great! It was more than enough room for 9 adults to spread out comfortably and hang out, play games, or just spend time together. Location is great - close to everything on St. Simon's. We had a rainy day where we all stayed in - it was really great to have a place that allowed for us all to hang out!

Great house layout! Rooms with lots of room to spread out. Location within short walk to shops and restaurants and or 1/2 mile or less to drive. Nice having private pool. Short drive to beach. Nice park behind house and pet friendly.

We really enjoyed our week at this property. The location was fantastic - quiet neighborhood right next to wide open areas to walk the dogs, yet with very convenient walking distance to the shops, pier, lighthouse, and some sweet treats!! There was plenty room for our two families to spread out, sleep comfortably, enjoy a puzzle or game of uno, or to watch a show or movie. The kitchen was well equipped for the several meals we enjoyed “at home”. The pool was much enjoyed and helped to make up for it not being a great week to go to the beach.

Beautiful and comfortable home

The house is very clean and comfortable with lots of space. Great neighborhood. Excellent kitchen. Nice beds. We had 10 people and were comfortable. The outdoor kitchen is very nice and the pool is good too. We hope to go back.

beautiful home - short on the basics

This home is wonderful, very light and bright. Perfect location with a park for a back yard. Didn't have the barest of basics, no soap of any kind in the kitchen, only cheap hotel hand soap in bathrooms. Liquid soap is so inexpensive, you think it would be at every sink, especially during these times. An extra garbage bag would not be too much to ask for your patrons that pay $400 a night. We did not go out to eat and had a lot of garbage.

Great location and Space

Our family took a short Fall Break Trip to Saint Simons and really enjoyed this home. We paid extra to heat the pool (a little pricey for the 4 nights but seemed like a standard flat cost for most homes with pools) which was key as the temps were nice but pool would been cold without. The kids loved the pool and the grandparents enjoyed sitting by the pool and watching them. The house sits on a park which is great to access for the kids and the dog and makes up for not having a yard in the back. There was a basketball court and tennis courts in the park and then a play ground across the street a short distance. The walk to the town was short and easy, which we did quite often and every evening for ice cream. Note: due to currents and tides you can either bike or drive to an area where there is beach to enjoy, I would not say all day beach access is in walking distance. Parking in town did not appear to be a problem while we were there but during the summer months clearly would be busy so walking would be key. The house had great spaces (3 dining areas - one with 5 seats, one with 8 and another table with 2 seats). The upstairs living room would be great for movies or a kids hang out with multiple families. There was even a desk in the master suite that I worked from periodically on a few of the days. The grill was super clean and great to have for steaks we grabbed from The Pelican Market. Finally, our 9.5 yr old golden retriever traveled with us and loved it, so pet friendly was awesome. Couple of feedback points: Like other reviews, there is not much in regards to cleaning or paper products - bring or plan to buy - trash bags, dish soap, extra dishwasher pods or soap if you run dishwasher frequently, extra toilet paper and paper towels (may not end up using depending on how much was left over from last guest). Also bring any shampoo and toiletries you may need. The biggest thing was no extra trashbags or dish soap for sink. Also, the most frequently used rooms are due for a good paint job inside because of use from frequent guests, it didn't impact our enjoyment of the property but just noticeable. Incase you are wondering, the downstairs bedroom is a full/queen and the bathroom has a door that goes to the pool deck and is the only downstairs bath. We enjoyed this property and would definitely consider booking if returning to Saint Simons for a visit. Wonderful mini vacation. Thanks!

Huge home in a great location

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect. Just a 10 minute walk to the pier and a 7 minute drive to East Beach. The pool was wonderful and we recommend having it heated for your stay. So relaxing! The home is much more spacious than expected and the neighborhood is quiet and walkable. Don't miss out on St. Simon's Park right next door. Absolutely beautiful 😍 The only thing we had a problem with is that the property does not include any extra trash bags for the kitchen and did not include any shampoo in the bathrooms. The only soap provided was small bar soap (1 for each bathroom). Make sure to bring extra handsoap, dishwasher pods, trash bags, laundry detergent, extra toilet paper (if needed for bigger families), extra paper towels and shampoo, body wash, etc. Other than that everything was great and we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect house and location!

We had an unbelievable experience all around with this Vrbo rental. The house was exquisite, clean and even better than the photos. There were just 2 of us staying but it’s large enough for many guests. The location is amazing. It’s only about a block away from the village with shops and restaurants and also walking distance to the beach. The pool was also fantastic for night swimming. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely getaway!

Perfect house for vacation. Has everything you could need when renting a house. Very clean and very nice. Close to the beach , the pier and many other attractions at st simons island. Hodnett cooper are great people too. Would definitely stay again

Great house for a family vacation

Our family of 8 enjoyed the beautiful home and appreciated all the extras - the pool, ample sitting areas with quiet separation, multiple dinning areas for eating, playing games, etc., short walk to the park, shopping and beach, quiet neighborhood, and immediate response to any service issues! We all enjoyed the stay at St. Simons Island and will definitely return! P.S. we got lucky and picked a 10 day period with absolutely perfect weather! When we left our home in Ohio the temperature was 13 and we arrived at St. Simons to 65 plus every day!
