"I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent stay at Karibea Valmeniere Hotel has been, without question, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. First, the Wi-Fi has apparently been down for weeks with no clear plan to fix it—completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel charging these rates. My wife and I, along with several other guests, were left waiting over 6 hours just to get into our room. There was no communication, no urgency, and absolutely no effort to accommodate us during that time. The customer service only made things worse. The staff was consistently rude and unhelpful. At one point, after hours of waiting, I asked for something as simple as a cup of coffee and was told I would have to pay for it. Not even a complimentary glass of water was offered while we waited. To top it off, all on-site restaurants were closed until 7 PM, leaving us with no food options during a long and exhausting wait. For $250 a night, this experience is beyond disappointing—it’s unacceptable. Travelers, beware: this hotel is not worth your time or money. I will never return, and in my opinion, it doesn’t even deserve a single star."

"Belle villa avec beaucoup de commodités. Par contre, elle est très loin de toutes les activités tant pour les plages que les excursions. De plus, le wifi ne fonctionne absolument pas, même avec une intervention de l'hôte. Finalement, beaucoup de moustiques, fourmis et de cafards à l'intérieur malgré une grande propreté. L'accès à l'eau de la maison est presque impossible, vu les sargasses et les nombreuses fourmis rouges et autres insectes. "

"I would definitely recommend this villa as a place to stay when looking to experience Martinique. The photos and description are good representations of the property; both Tania (the host) and Marie Ange (the support on property) are responsive, helpful and very nice to deal with. Both Le Francois and Vauclin are short drives and have everything you need. Beautiful beaches like Les Salines and St Anne are easy drives to the south and Tartane is an easy drive to the north. "
