Staying here gave me a wonderful home away from home. While there were a few small hiccups upon arrival, Kelly and Noriko were very attentive to my needs.Located in a charming historic district with walkability to many eateries, breweries, and bars, the apartment was just a ten minute walk to my workshop facility. It was nice to come "home" to a comfortable place after a long day. To be fair, the side of the apartment is on a busier street with audible noise in the evening and morning. Lucky for me, I sleep with earplugs!While the cleaning crew could have been a bit more thorough with details like cleaning the drawers and cabinets, the linens were clean and of superior quality and the bed was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen came fully equipped with dishes, utensils, and pans...minus the corkscrew. The only other thing I missed was a dishwasher!I also enjoyed the patio area with a family size table and comfortable lounge chair I used for reading and happy hour. The laundry is just off the patio so you do need to go outside via the bedroom door for access. Since I was staying solo, I can’t speak to the comfort of sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area, however I did use it as a reading nook, so I can say I could feel the metal frame while sitting.I had a wonderful stay in Historic Kenwood and was happy with the quick response from both Kelly and Noriko during the booking process and my stay. I’m planning to return next year and would definitely stay here again!
