Food was excelent both in the evening and breakfast. We think it must be a wonderful place to work as all the staff from reception to cleaners were all very happy, chatty and helpful. "From the initial booking until our departure, Kirsty and Barry were outstanding. When I realised I had forgotten to mention our dog, a quick email resolved everything, their prompt and helpful response set the tone for the excellent service we received throughout our stay.Before arriving, Barry even contacted me directly by mobile phone when their internet and landline had gone down due to a thunderstorm. This thoughtful call allowed us to confirm our arrival time smoothly.On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Kirsty and Barry, who gave us a comprehensive introduction to the property. The cottage itself was spotless, extremely well-equipped, and filled with all the home comforts you’d need to truly enjoy your stay. Their introductory package for the cottage and surrounding area was exceptionally helpful, something many larger “luxury” organisations could learn from.The thoughtful doggy welcome package, complete with treats, a towel, a toy, and even a temporary dog tag was an excellent touch and very much appreciated.Nothing was too much trouble for this couple, and it really made the difference. We look forward to returning to this part of the country next year and, hopefully, securing accommodation with Kirsty and Barry again. Definitely a 10 out of 10 out of 10 experience."
