「We only stayed for 1 night but we were so impressed with how comfy, clean and spacious the lodge was and also the location of the hotel such a beautiful setting with the castle very close by really picturesque. Hotel staff were brilliant very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast which was included in the price was delicious and the eggs Benedict were perfect with a nice runny yolk. We’ll definitely stay again as Orford is such a beautiful quaint place to visit.」

「Comfortable, clean room in a quaint old pub. Food was OK, but pricey. The most disappointing thing, given that the pub is owned by Adnams, was the quality of the beer. I tried all three of their staple brews, all of which I know and like, but they were all flat and lifeless. They were also very expensive given that they were only brewed ‘up the road’!!」

「We decided to go to the Bull inn as it was situated well for us as we wanted to go to Sutton Hoo and then the next morning go to Framlingham Castle. On arrival at the Bull inn we were meet by friendly staff booked in and given our key to our room which we were very pleased with may i say. 「We thought we’d booked a room and were given a suite on two floors which was novel. The staff were great and the breakfast fine. Dinner was excellent although a little expensive although I may be poor of date. We didn’t have time to try the pool but it looked good. You do have to book a time slot. We would stay again but prefer a room in the main house.」

「Situated near the station and at the top of the main drag, this hotel is in dire need of some tlc. They do appear to have a programme of renovations in hand, but our corner room had several cracked window panes and dated furnishings. The sink does not have a mixer tap, and the hot water is scalding, while there is almost no water pressure for the shower. 「Property was wonderful! Large kitchen /dining area ready family meal. If you want to cook there everything you need is there already to prepare meals. Large comfortable living area. Bed was comfortable and warm. Property right across from the beach and close to center of the town. We had a great visit!!」

「Had to cancel my stay, yet they billed my credit card for 12 nights. Admin error at best, theft at worst. I'm letting my bank deal with it. Would not recommend unless this gets resolved. 」
