「Our stay at this property was awesome! The home had everything we needed and then some. The location was also perfect for our stay. I have no problem recommending this property to anyone considering a rental in the Cross lake area. 」

「It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. Didn’t know that until the day we left...

「I wasn't there much as I was participating in an event that took most of my days, but just waking up there in the mornings was incredible. Then when I returned in the evening more peacefulness. I did a little fishing, it was great」

「Room was clean, place was quiet. There is a restaurant downstairs but we didn't get the opportunity to try it, but it smelled good! Plenty of parking, easy to get to.」
