Shocked this location has such good ratings. Less than mediocre at best. Front desk person was sitting on a bench out front chatting during what appeared to be a smoke break, so we stood around in the lobby for a good 10 minutes before I went and looked outside trying to figure out who worked the front desk. Since they were still in heavy conversation, I went back in and that is when she came in to check us in. Positives - she was apologetic and was quick after that. Located across from a hospital, so be prepared for sirens and helicopters landing. Convenient location to downtown but not a walking area, especially after dark.

The staff was helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. The room was spotless. The area and parking were very convenient. The blinds were dusty in the stairwell and there was some litter in the stairwell.

The hotel was clean and price was reasonable. Plenty of parking and lot was nicely lit. It was very close to the event we were attending so that we could walk to it and felt safe.

Hotel was not terrible nor great, just good. It had the look and feel of an older Quality Inn or Super 8 (so if you’re familiar with those, it’s essentially that). Had free parking and a standard free breakfast which was great! Hotel itself was safe, but the surrounding area not as safe since multiple groups of homeless people hang out around there. Easily within walking distance to all the downtown stuff which I appreciated. All in all, probably the best overall hotel in the downtown area from what I saw looking at other hotels.

Disgusting. Checked in then immediately checked out. Used soap on the bathroom countertop. Looks like the room hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The room smelled. We were afraid to sit down on the bed or furniture. When we left, 5 minutes after checking in, the man at the front didn't seem to care nor did he seem surprised. The pictures do NOT represent what the hotel looks like or the condition of it. Highly do not reccommend.

My sincere apologies! I personally thank you for your feedback because this is totally unacceptable and will be addressed, you should have never been checked into that room if it wasn't clean yet. We do take pride in our hotel and again I sincerely apologize.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Check-in and check-out were very quick and the staff was friendly. My room didn't have soap, but that was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise nice stay.

Only down fall was the elevator was not working .Employees had no idea as to when the elevator would get fixed. Really makes it hard for people with disabilities.

Staff was very friendly . Check in was smooth. We even got a recommendation for a local restaurant - which was nice. Fridge was actually on and working. Don’t see that all the time. Bed was comfortable. Only minor issues - shower drip, worn shower curtain (with a little bit of mold starting to form). The continental breakfast was good. Biscuits and gravy and waffles were the main choices. Juices, yogurt, etc. Overall, a very nice stay, especially for the price.

I just wanted a place to lay my head that was close to St John’s. This one fits the bill. Good price, friendly and helpful staff, and the rooms are actually pretty comfortable.

Photos on the website are needing updated, but to my surprise it was a well kept hotel. Pricing was good. We got there late so we were unable to check the pool and fitness center out. Breakfast was a small continental but I had the biscuits and gravy, they were delicious. If I should ever find myself back in Springfield, I’ll stay again

The staff was extremely helpful. The location was close enough to the Lincoln Museum so we could walk there. The hotel itself is pretty basic—rooms are small, fitness room is very small, towels are small…but we were only in town for one night and the location was totally worth it.

Was there for one night. I was so disappointed with the condition of the hotel and the room. Everything is falling apart. Even the up and down arrow on the elevator. They seriously need to get new toilets, sinks and tubs. The mattress cover was ripped. Not sure about the previous hyped up reviews but nothing matched. The guy checking in wasn’t welcoming. He didn’t even explain WiFi or breakfast. Not going back there again.
