"Great staff"

"I arrived just before 6pm to find my room wasn’t ready, so I waited in the bar. When I finally got in, the room was okay but lacked basic in‑room amenities—there were no cups or kettle, as these are kept in a separate kitchen, which was sparsely stocked. Although I knew the bathroom was shared, I was surprised there was no sink in the room. There were also cobwebs that hadn’t been cleaned, and the door didn’t feel secure; it kept banging in the wind overnight until I wedged it shut. Breakfast must be pre‑ordered the night before, so I missed out. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and dinner was passable."

"We booked this for a family birthday celebration, and it is was perfect for us. The location meant that we could visit places close by and keep all ages entertained from a 5 yr old to an 85 yr old, and all in between, and the bedrooms and en-suites meant that we could fit everyone in comfortably. The instructions and attentiveness for our stay was outstanding and a special thanks to Neil who made our stay welcoming, friendly and enjoyable."

"Everyone was super friendly, absolutely perfect for dogs. Everyone appeared to have treats on them. Places for dog to run around safely. Beds were comfortable and rooms dark, slept well. Food great, spa lovely and clean. Massages were amazing. We went for our minimoon and only the weather would be made it better. "

"Everything was inorder and communication was clear though someof our party struggled to find the barn and would have appreciated some signage... but what 3 words was accurate."

"We had a wonderful time at Manor House. It was spacious and comfortable, for 5 couples plus 2 children under 2. The rooms were all of an excellent size and there were travel cots helpfully provided. The gardens are beautiful and we loved the hot tub. There was an issue with communication with StayCotswold, regarding the broken oven, no fault of the owner and this did make cooking for a large group slightly challenging due to the size of dishes required not fitting in the smaller ovens. But we made do! A couple things could make the stay perfect, the metal bed frame in the main bedroom creaked loudly whenever we moved on it, unfortunately on several occasions this did mean we woke up our baby. It was a very cold weekend and the rooms in the eaves got really cold overnight for the people sleeping in there. Perhaps extra heaters or bedding would be useful? Finally 5pm is a late check in time, we’ve stayed in plenty of large properties as a group but never needed to check in at 5pm, given check out is 10am this leaves a 7 hour turnaround time, which seems like a lot."

"We were a family group of nine with two dogs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this special house. The lovely (quiet!) sitting room and a living room with the tv both had cosy open fires, much needed during a very chilly, but thankfully mainly dry, spell during our time here. The open plan kitchen and dining area meant there’s plenty of room for everyone. A huge dining table was great for playing games. The large garden is gorgeous (and must be spectacular in the warmer months). The eleven and twelve year olds loved having the horses nearby. Enjoyed one truly delicious meal at The Star pub, highly recommended. Would have gone again but had too much food at “home” to use up. Some minor problems were immediately rectified by the owners. A memorable stay. Thank you!"

"Beautiful converted barn, in the middle of an apple orchard, right next to a farm shop and butcher - what’s not to love. Hosts were extremely friendly and responsive. Beds were very comfortable and furniture designed for lazy afternoons watching the red kites circling. Definitely would recommend. "
