"Would definitely recommend this hotel, great central location close to the ferry port, stunning roof top pool with great cocktails. The staff could not have been more helpful, in particular Rosemaria and Nicla, our little girl loved them! The room was cleaned/restocked daily and couldn't fault breakfast or the view."

"We just took our children and grandchildren, eleven of us, for a week at Villa La Calcara. An exceptional experience, consistent with all the reviews. A great find!Ulrico was so helpful and responsive and the staff - Caterina, Carmela, and Rosaria are the best. They even stock up on what you request from the market, so it is available upon arrival. The accommodations were immaculate and the pool was so welcome after excursions. The grandchildren, ages 7 to 12, loved spending time in the water. Carmela is an excellent chef, preparing dinners comparable to the best restaurants that we went to. She breakfast on the days that we were not up and out very early. A major plus is Anthony, the taxi driver. He grew up in Britain and his English is fluent. He arranged for two Mercedes vans to accommodate our large group, as needed, and helped plan our excursions. He knows everybody and booked a wonderful tour guide for Pompeii. DO NOT attempt to drive yourself on the roads unless you can tolerate extreme stress. What a memorable trip for my entire family!"

"Amazing stay. The front desk went out of their way one evening when we needed Advil and personally walked me to a medic. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. I felt welcomed, at home, and every single person went over and above. Perfect spot for a week on the coast. Maiori is simply quaint and exactly what you would want for a week on the Amalfi coast. Breakfast daily was perfect. The bartender was great. The wait staff was spectacular. There is nothing to change about this absolutely perfect hotel. Thank you for making my birthday trip memorable and lovely."

"We had an amazing stay! Our initial room lacked air conditioning but the staff was very accommodating. We got switched to a beautiful room next day and loved our stay. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Yes, you can hear the buses honk when they do by but it’s didn’t bother us at all. There are two public beaches a short walk away or you can purchase spaces at a nearby beach clubs for about $20 per person. We decided recommend the residence for families."

"The place is absolutely beautiful! A gem! Well-maintained, tasteful, clean with a delicious breakfast in a patio with a spectacular view of the sea and bountiful vegetation! The staff, professional and always ready to help. The car service always available and the drivers courteous. Mario, Domenico, Luigi, Barbara and all the other staff - really a pleasure to interact with. The place is impeccably kept and tastefully decorated. We had one of the most memorable suppers at the Pandora during our stay (Michelin quality) - delicious with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented - try the 'Calamarata al granchio blu' - superb! What can I say? I would go back in a minute! To the next time! Grazie mille!"

"Our stay was superb from start to finish. The property is situated on a beautiful cliff overlooking the sea. The accommodation is surrounded by lovely flora and fauna. Upon arrival, Illinia, the property manager, warmly greeted us with a tour of our beautiful suite, beautifully decorated with local ceramics. We had a small fridge that was well stocked with refreshing beverages and snacks. As we sat on our private balcony that overlooked the Sea we enjoyed the light breezes and fresh aromatic air, and we decided we arrived in heaven!Every morning we were presented a delicious breakfast of fresh fruits and vegetables, local meats and cheeses, assortments of pastries and lovely coffees, espresso and cappuccinos to dine on at the beautiful spacious common patio. The beach down below was fun with lots of lunch places to enjoy fresh seafood. The water was clean and blue and very refreshing. In the evening, we sat at our patio, sipping wine and overlooking the blue moon. As a former innkeeper and traveler, I believe that this property has everything one would want while visiting the Amalfi."
