"Exactly what i need for, dont expect luxuries ."

"The owners were extremely helpful, caring and concerned about making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They went above and beyond. They picked us up and returned us to the airport at our convenience and even offered to drive us to a restaurant for dinner. They work very hard and have a lovely yard to relax in. There are nice walking tracks very close to their accomodations which we enjoyed as well. We would highly recommend a stay with them. Wish we had more time to spend there but we were at the end of our trip. "

" Clean and tidy for a single night stay - parking outside the door so that was a bonus in appalling weather . Had an after hours check in via a lockbox with texted instructions - Worked fine and there was a dropbox for key return so we had no face to face with any staff ."

"Nice location, so close to all things related to Christchurch. Hotel was clean and well equipped. The glass table had trapped dirt which was off-putting. Really liked the walkout to the garden."

"I do not like to stay in places that are managed by companies. They have policies and procedures that they follow. You do not get the personal service that an owner usually provides. You get one towel per person. If you need two, one to dry yourself and one to dry your hair too bad. I must say the heated towel rack does help dry your one towel out quickly. The heated toilet seat was a hit. "
