「Hacienda del Sol is a wonderful place! Unlike many hotels in Taos that have modernized decor, HdS has kept its authentic Southwestern aesthetic and charm. 「We loved our stay at Casa Escondida. From beginning to end, the communication was excellent. Our food preferences were asked for, and our instructions for getting there were clearly defined. The breakfast was superb both days, and our chef shared local information and what we might like to see for that day. All the staff were so nice, and the people staying there at the same time as us were equally lovely.」

「Long time traveler here, this is the BEST place to stay if you are in Mancos area or visiting Mesa verde NP. The home is so clean and the hosts are the nicest people you will ever meet. Also, their breakfast is absolutely delicious and the conversations around the breakfast table were just as lovely! I would give them 15 out of 10 if I could. Highly recommended!」
