"The property itself was a little run down - although quite charming because it is an historical building, but the rooms, bathrooms and kitchen facilities were spotless. My room was very small but perfectly comfortable. the staff on the desk spoke adequate English (I speak no Spanish, to my shame) and were always friendly and helpful. All in all, t was definitely value for money, and I would be happy to stay there again. The only problem was that some of the residents were a bit noisy at night and left the bathrooms with very wet floors - not at all necessary if one takes a little care! But this is hardly the hotel's fault."

"Hotel was very central. Room was lovely and rooftop pool and bar were great. The only disappointment was the staff weren’t particularly helpful on the front desk, especially as there was a lot of travel disruption with a parade and protest going on, no acknowledgement of this, no option offered for breakfast, maps, reservations, or general hospitality, which was a real shame for a 4 star hotel"

"My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was nice and clean. It had all the amenities we needed. What made this hotel extra special was the staff. They were all extremely helpful and caring. The front desk manager, named Marc, was especially nice and accommodating to our every need. If we ever come back to Madrid Centro, this is where we’ll be staying."
