「We stay at this particular hotel a lot when visiting family. We normally have no complaints. But our toilet seat was broken and not easy to go to the bathroom on, to be honest. We reported it to the front desk and was told the maintenance person was off till the following day. But the seat was never fixed. We were there for 3 days. We also only had one towel a piece for 3 days and no new towels were provided. I feel like if we are there more than a day or longer, we should be provided fresh...

「This was a good, easy stop unexpectedly after the Colorado wildfires meant a detour in our trip itinerary. It’s a well maintained building, very neat, looks to have newer renovations, and very comfortable beds. The only concern was our bathroom appeared to have had a leak from above at some point. Maybe replace the tub and get some new ceiling tiles. You can tell they tried to fix it. Other than that, we were pleased with our stay and the accommodations.」

「Truly not wonderful, despite what has been reported on Expedia and elsewhere. Older hotel with small, damp, dark rooms (although they have updated the furnishings and repainted many walls). Hotel hallways have “drop ceiling” with sagging tiles a few inches above one’s head. Parking lot should have been resurfaced 10 years ago. Towels had holes. Coffee was weak. Orange juice was weak. Shower was VERY weak. And we listened to people slam doors all night long. Not wanting to be overly critical...

「The Sleep Inn in Ft. Scott was very convenient to get to from arriving, to traveling to the ballparks. The staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was good with several choices. The breakfast room hostess was very accommodating and pleasant. The bed was comfy with bright white bedding. The room just had that clean smell. We would definitely stay there again.」
