One of the cleanest properties I’ve ever rented. The owner put in so much thought as to large families, that the property includes 3 refrigerators for example. So many amenities. Shampoo, conditioner and soap provided, all the pots and pans we could ever use. Beautiful pool, jacuzzi, so much seating. We could not have asked for anything more.

This was a great house for our large family beach trip. Plenty of room for everyone. The game room and pool were a huge hit. The large living room and kitchen were great. The doubled fridges and ovens were a blessing. The walk to the beach was easy and quick, even with kids. We would definitely stay here again.- The kitchen didn't have any oven mitts so maybe bring one or two with you. Otherwise, the kitchen and house were stocked very well.

Very successful family vacation

The house was amazing, bright, very clean, and absolutely beautiful. Very short walk to the beach, easy to get in and out of. The garage had a large stock of beach accessories that are great for kids and adults, the pool was wonderful and clean, and the kitchen had a wide variety of dishes for cooking, baking, and eating. The owner has very reasonable rules and expectations and has made them easy to follow - standard and obvious rules like not bringing in sandy beach stuff or using glass around the pool. Basically, respecting the property. I did not think the rules were unreasonable or onerous and the owner has provided an easily accessible shower and hose in the back for rinsing sand off before going inside.The house was so close to the beach that we could wander down for 30-45 minute increments without worrying about making "a trip" out of it. The location was amazing.The owner was very responsive to messages about various questions. She even had batteries dropped off for a dead remote within an hour of asking if there might be some in a drawer somewhere.Altogether, Lyly was a fantastic host and the house was amazing. Highly recommend.

Family vacation

What a great week we had! The house was beautiful and perfect for our four generation family trip! There was plenty of room to sleep and the gathering spots were big enough for us to all sit together and visit. We all enjoyed the pool so much and it was big enough for all of us. The host was quick to answer all my questions. Perfect trip in every way!

weekend getaway from work

very spacious, very modern, very nice we all got to eat together, using garage helped us accommodate 4 vehicles pool was missing light (it was only flashing very dim)but it didn't bother us that much to address with owners hot tube was perfect will book again next year thanks

Lots of space

This house was a lot of fun to stay at. Not as clean as expected on arrival and kitchen was missing some main items. We purchased plastic turners for the nonstick cookware while we were there and we never found any oven mitts. The pool and hot tub were great and we enjoyed the pool table. It was a quick walk to the beach. Overall, a great place to stay for a group.

Family Vaca

This house is in a perfect location, nice neighborhood, close to the beach and other attractions. The pool and hot tub were perfectly heated. There were plenty of beach toys, chairs, etc. to accommodate the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

South Padre 2024

Our stay in the Jupiter Villa was wonderful. The house is beautiful and was everything we hoped it would be. The pool was amazing and when we weren't in the pool, we were only a few houses away from beach access. We were within walking distance of many restaurants and shops in South Padre and everything else was in short driving distance. The house was large and laid out perfectly for our group of adults, teens and children -- we numbered 20. The kitchen was large enough that we could hang out while cooking and never get crowded and then the tables and chairs held us all so we could all eat together and worked great for game nights. We have absolutely no complaints with this home. It was perfect.

Loved the property!

Loved the house! We had a total of 21 people of various ages! The pool and the hot tub were great! Beach access was not far from the house and easy to get to. So easy to check into the house and communication from the owners was great! Thinking about booking the house again next summer!

South Padre Birthday trip

This is a very nice house and a very nice property. The host greeted us upon arrival and wanted to know if we had any questions or needed anything. The host was available to answer questions throughout the weekend. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. We used the kitchen and cooked and what we needed was available. I recommend a stay here and would go back.

Short Island Stay

We had an incredible family vacation, we enjoyed the spaciousness of the home, the close proximity to the beach, lots of dining options and the pool and hot tub were a relaxing treat. There was so much space, the home was very clean, all the cooking and kitchen essentials you would need and checking in and out was so easy. We got to fish, body surf and take a snorkeling trip, we would definitely come back.

Family Vacation

Our family had the best time on our family vacation. The house comfortably hosted my big family and everyone enjoyed the pool and quick walk to the beach. There’s so much to do on the island. The house is perfectly located to enjoy all the island fun.

Great family vacation!

Everything was perfect for our family vacation! The location was great and the villa was extremely nice! We had plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group. We loved that it had 2 refrigerators, 2 ovens, 2 microwaves and 2 islands in the well equipped large kitchen! There was also ample seating inside and outside for everyone. The pool was great and it was only a short walk to the beach. We highly recommend this beautiful house!

Great place to stay for large family gatherings

I take my large family on an annual vacation. This was the first time we chose SPI as a location. There was a lot to do, great fishing, we did a Catamaran dinner cruise, spent time on the beach and great restaurants nearby. I really like the clear water as compared to other Texas coastal locations. So the location was great. And the home we rented was perfect, The home was clean, comfortable beds, great pool and sauna and a very short walk to the beach. I highly recommend this home. The owners were great to work with and we will plan to return in a few years.

Excellent Large Family Rental

Our family of 11 just spent a week in this house. We found that it met our needs very well, and would recommend it to others. The home was clean and well equipped. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The pool is delightful, and the beach is not more than a five minute walk. Plenty of furniture around the pool. There is a wagon and a lot of sand toys for use, along with chairs you can take to the beach. I made a full Thanksgiving dinner, and the kitchen provided everything I needed in terms of equipment except a large roasting pan and pie plates, satisfied by purchasing aluminum pans at the store. The HEB at Port Isabel is an awesome store, but the Blue Marlin on South Padre is very nice also. The beds are comfortable. Bathrooms all function well. The TV in the main sitting area was great for watching the World Cup. The bunk bed room worked great for grandkids. The owner took great care of us, providing two new high chairs for our little ones and sending the housekeeper over when we couldn’t locate the pack and play. A few things to consider when renting this villa: As mentioned in other reviews, you hear all of the footsteps, chair movement and door closing from the second level when trying to sleep on the first, so plan your bedroom occupants accordingly. The tables and chairs in the dining area are counter height. Was not an issue for us, but mentioning for the benefit of guests with physical handicaps. The living room area lacks any kind of table or floor lamps, so when your crew turns out the overhead light to watch TV, you are out of luck if you are a reader and will have to go to your bedroom or bring along a reading light. This was off season for South Padre, which we found to be great since the beach was not crowded. However, note that many restaurants were closed for the season. Louie’s on the bay was a great spot to take a big family group, and they were open for business! Thanks to Lyly for a great villa that got a thumbs up from all 11 of us! We will carry some wonderful memories of the past week on South Padre.

Overall experience was great. Communication with the property owner was great. House is equipped with everything you need. Utensils, towels, outdoor grill and propane, etc. Pool is good size for a bigger group. Walking distance to beach access or there is parking right there as well if you want to drive. Would definitely stay in this house again.

We had a great time, the house is not a close to the beach as we would have liked.

The house will sleep a lot of people but in a limited space~ the bunk room has a lot of beds but they are all in that one room. Great for kids, but the room is not cool~ we used fans. The bath in upstairs bathroom needs repairs~ we had issues turning off water~ couldn’t use it. The shower outside to rinse off sand; doesn’t have a faucet. The kitchen is upstairs ~ just made it extremely hard with little kids, and carrying food, groceries, etc. upstairs. The couches do not have sleepers in them. But overall it was nice.
