Novotel Münster City

"This Novotel is perfectly fine. It's located on a charmless main road right near the central station, so if that convenience is important to you, great. And it's still convenient to the old city, just not charming The hotel itself is comfortable-- pleasant public spaces in the lobby, comfortable room with good bedding and excellent AC (which was essential during our heat wave stay). My only complaint, really, is that it somehow lacks soul and the people at the front desk all did what they needed to do, but without much warmth or hospitlality (I'm guessing they are students as Münster is a university town). And the price on hotels.com was significantly better than booking direct (we know, because we asked them about extending our stay and when we checked on hotels.com, the prices were much better so we rebooked our room through hotels.com)"

"Whole weekend wifi not working. Note: the hotel is quite big, it is composed of several builduings , but there is no airconditioning. Luckely for us the temperture was just fine, but when you have to stay on a hot day it might be an issue. Bus to city centre tip: buy a day-ticket , cheaper than 2x one-way tickets. Nice: there is a bakery conditorei next to the hotel."

"The room was fine. On-site parking was handy and secure. While we were there, a noisy machine was running all night,m. Hours of 5 to 10pm for the spa are inconvenient."

"Great, simple hotel room that was very clean and comfortable. Everything was perfect. My only note is the noise on the streets downstairs is 24 hrs: but what does one expect staying across from the train station."

"My daughter and I stayed in a room together. The bunk beds were comfortable. I appreciated that they had a place to charge my phone right by my head. The room was quite spacious. The bathroom was clean. Towels were large and nice. Great location, very walkable to shops, restaurants, and the train station."

"We arrived late but check in was still open. Plenty of space to park. We had a family room which had two spacious rooms. Windows could be left open as they had a mosquito net in them, which was helpful in the heat. Modern decoration and peaceful location. Little playground and outdoor gym useful to run off energy for the kids just 2 mins up the road."

"Great value stay in centre of Münster. Self check in didn't fully work so had to call help number, answered only on third phone call. Room large, kettle very useful."

"I had forgotten that my room would actually be more like a studio apartment, and I adored the setup! A REWE is quite close, so I was able to purchase some food and store it in the fridge. The location is convenient to the Bahnhof, shopping, and restaurants, and it didn't take very long for me to walk to the Peace Hall, St. Paulus-Dom, and the University. I was in town for a conference, and my little apartment felt like a home away from home!"
