"The hotel is in a good location downtown. I got a good price on the room, but they got me with the Valet parking. It was $50.00 a night, which is ridiculous. I was there for 5 nights and that Valet took a chunk out of my travel expenses. There was no mention of the cost of valet in Expedia or on the hotel website."

"What a lovely place! The food was great and we were appreciative of not having to leave the hotel to find a restaurant on a Friday night after traveling all day. Rain didn’t allow us to use the pool but it looked good. This place is clean and comfortable, we loved it."

Had a bad experience at the omni and left to go to the westing and it was my 50th bday and they have my husband and i a wonderful suite and also had cake and champagne delivered..along with a wonder card. Made my bday even better considering the bad expensive we had at the omni. Thestaff sas wonderful. Will definitely be staying there every time we go to Dallas. "

"My wife and I booked a suite for 2 nights. After checking in, we noticed the floor had not been cleaned, especially in the bathroom - which still had soap scum and hair still around it. We had to ask the front desk clerk three time and wait over two hours for housekeeping to finally come back and clean the floors, but even then the soap scum residue from the previous guests was still all over the bathroom floor. So, we decided to put three towels down and try not to think about it. Then, on the first night after we went to bed, we turned the AC on and set it to 69˚F, only to wake up in a sweat two hours later at 3:30am and find the room at 79˚F. Apparently, there was a short in the thermostat wiring because it took me numerous attempts to turn the unit on and off for it to finally kick on and begin cooling the room. But, at that point, my wife and I were both wide awake and not able to get back to sleep. Finally, at around 11am/Noon, after having been awake for the last seven/eight hours, we were able to fall back asleep. We woke up at at around 6pm and were both starving, so we left in a hurry to make it to our dinner reservation. After dinner, we decided we didn't want to stay another night and tried checking out/requesting a refund due to our awful experience. The front desk supervisor told us that they wouldn't approve a refund request for our second night because "it was too late for them to rebook the room" and then took no responsibility. Truly atrocious."

"Extremely Disappointing 3hr Stay : Misleading Photos and Poor Conditions I booked this hotel based on the pictures online, but what I saw in person was completely different. The room was in terrible condition: the shower didn't run, there was no fridge, no toilet paper, and no bath towels. The bed sheets had cigarette burns and appeared to have bed bugs. One TV was broken on the ground, while another was loosely leaning on the cabinet. The floor was greasy in several spots, as it oil or baby oil had been spilled, making it unsafe to walk on. Management and the owners refused to take any responsibility for the state of the room or offer any assistance. I took multiple photos to document the poor conditions - please see them on Google. This place is not as advertised and should be avoided by anyone expecting basic cleanliness or functionality."

"Like staying in a piece of art, but with helpful, friendly, and informative staff. Only drawback, no free breakfast, but regardless of that would certainly stay here for every Dallas trip. The wife wants to stay just to stay and enjoy the pool!"
