「Very special place, peaceful and quiet. Viv was a wonderful host, especially as I was a lone traveller. Gorgeous bedroom and balcony up in the apple trees, lovely views. Dreamy. Would love to return and just wish I could have stayed longer.」

「Shine Chalet is a perfect for a short/long stay for a couple. The premise is clean, modern and smart, there is more than adequate space, it is well equipped, the bed is comfortable and a very nice shower, one issue is the minute hand basin, which barely big enough for it’s function. There is nice outside space with table and chairs and a tidy and sizeable car parking area.」

「This was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with a holiday rental. We ended up not staying the night at all, despite paying 357 for a one-night stay – which is completely unreasonable given the state of the property.The outdoor areas were dirty and unusable, with neglected furniture and no signs of recent cleaning. Inside, the sofa and lounge area were grubby and uncomfortable. The whole place felt uncared for and unclean – nothing like the photos or description.The directions provided...

「The lodge was finished to a very high standard and felt welcoming from the moment we arrived, especially with the thoughtful welcome treats. The hot tub was a huge favourite with the children! We also really appreciated the selection of puzzles and games, which kept all ages happily entertained.」
