「The cabin was great! It was a little further from Acadia than we thought, but worked out fine for our short stay. We knew trash removal was our responsibility but struggled to find somewhere to take it. A local told us about stickers and that trash day was Thursday. Great getaway for a rustic experience. 「Location, cleanliness, amenities were all a 10, but the downstairs bed was hard as a rock, and the others were so so. Comfortable beds are a must, Invest in some better bedding and this place would be a perfect 10. I would also suggest a queen sized bed for the downstairs bedroom. Otherwise we had a great vacation visiting Acadia and the surrounding area.」

「The property was clean and as listed upon arrival. Our son loved having the water right up the the house and being able to fish. The house was well furnished, had extra blankets and adequate kitchen supplies. Any drawbacks were minor; limited food storage (pantry) space and limited local entertainment . 「The location was perfect. The size of the house was perfect. A couple of suggestions but by no means a criticism - an additional light outside near the two stairs down would be helpful. It was hard to see and we tripped a couple of times. Wooden tongs for the toaster. 「Great location for hiking Acadia NP. Inquired if there was a fire pit, the booking agency said no, but we found out as we were leaving that there was a shared fire pit-disappointed. Stairs to bedrooms were very steep-ok for able adults, but hazardous for children and others. Enjoyed the accommodations and location.」

「Myself and my family stayed at this property for a week. Had a few bumps when we first got there but the property manager was absolutely amazing. Responded immediately and got everything straightened out. The property is beautiful whether you are outside or looking out from inside. Was further than I thought from Acadia but we managed. No issues with the hot water and there were 6 of us. We had fun filled days and very peaceful relaxing evenings. Wonderful rental.」

「The kids went straight to the water and before we even checked out the house, plans were being made for our next vacation here and renting this property. Waterfront property, fire pit, beautiful garden, completely fenced in yard for the pups, separate sleeping quarters above the garage for those who want to retreat from the kiddos, we had absolutely nothing but great things to say about this property.
