「I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but I was warmly welcomed with a smile, which I truly appreciated. They kindly shared information about local shops and sightseeing spots, which helped ease my worries about being in a new town for the first time. The building is old, but the room was clean and I had a comfortable stay. (Adjusting the bath water temperature was a bit of a challenge.) Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay.」

「Primarily chosen as it was near to an event we were attending at the Nene Valley Railway (a short drive from the pub). We liked that the accommodation was in a separate building to the pub (although the pub was not loud). Good breakfast, evening meals, and friendly staff. We have a lovely walk around the village one evening, went back following day to try the local tea rooms but they closed early which was a shame. Will definitely stay here again」

「A superb stay and it was in a great location. The chestnut room that we stayed in was so clean. The staff were also very polite.」

「Everything about this place is fantastic」

「The Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar area and locals were welcoming. The accommodation could do with some TLC. Mattress in room 3 needs replacing.」

「Everything is dated and there’s not enough staff」
