"Laundry facilities onsite. Great views from each room. Great accessibility and ample parking. Restaurant onsite and a pub, both have awesome ocean views. Great location, close to town but not so close that its too noisy."

"We had booked 2 rooms on our way to Quatsino fishing. Bernie was great, he sent an email prior to our trip and called after we first booked in March. I always ask for a quiet room with a view. He let me know it was by the airport with no view. We were supposed to get an upgrade but the Inn and all of the hotels in the area were full. The upgrade wasn't a big deal, we just wanted a clean room. He sent someone up to check the room for us and offered to let us use the breakfast room if we wanted a bigger space to have a beer and chat. The customer service was very attentive. The room was clean, the appliances were fairly new. A big sized fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The continental breakfast was good."

"The apartment is equipped with everything you need. It is small but private with a lovely back garden with BBQ. The bed is very comfortable with quality bedding. The owners have creatively furnished the apartment with beautiful wood craftsmanship. I highly recommend making time for a visit to the attached Boom Boat studio and Art Gallery. Don and Denise are great hosts willing to share art expertise and lots of local history."

"This is a 100 year old hotel in the village of Alert Bay. Our room had a small balcony with a great view. The breakfast included bread, fruit and yogurt. The dining room downstairs had a limited menu. Don’t pay any attention to the one posted online. Prices, of course were higher , but the food was good. "

"Excellent facilities and spectacular views. Beds were comfortable, laundry was fab to keep up with the washing. No TV, excellent but good internet to keep in touch with home.Not only would I stay there again, I would buy it if money were no object. A resident eagle kept watch from the neighbours tree and passing whales were exciting to see. Thank you for your hospitality."
