The Outlook at Telegraph Cove, a place to relax, rejuvenate and unwind

  • Let the elements of nature help you unplug, unwind and relax in our top floor unit at Dockside 29 at Telegraph Cove. Enjoy the view overlooking the marina and boardwalk with pristine views of Johnstone strait. The call of eagles, glimpses of whales and visits from curious seals are some of the aspects of nature at your doorstep. This studio suite has a full kitchen, two comfortable queen size beds and a lovely sitting area overlooking the harbour.
    NOTE: Telegraph Cove is closed for its off season between October until Mother’s Day weekend. No amenities will be open. Our unit is available at off season rates during this time.

    Also, Telegraph Cove experienced a devastating fire in December 2024 resulting in significant damage to the restaurant, boardwalk and loss of the whale museum. Cleanup and repairs are ongoing with an expected completion date of May 2026. We want you to be aware of these details should it change your plans.

Such a cute little place with a beautiful view of the cove. It felt very homey. Communication with the host was great, very quick response. All in all such a lovely place!

We loved our 2 night stay! The apartment is well equipped and clean, and the views over the harbour are incredible. Beds were comfy, wifi was fast, kitchen was well equipped, and location is impossible to beat! We were staying in TC for a bear watching trip with Tide Rip so the apartment was perfectly located for the early start. There's a great restaurant and pub, general store and art gallery within steps of the home so we had everything we needed. Would love to stay again in the future.

the building itself is rather plain and ugly compared to the rest of Telegraph Cove, but luckily the view from our room was directly over the water and marina towards the beautiful old buildings and boardwalk across the way. The room was great. Comfy beds and plenty of room.

Room was perfect and great view of the marina and local bear who mostly ignored all the onlookers. Restaurant open and we had a great dinner last night. Communication easy self check in and out. The lockbox right beside door & parking right out front. No issues, kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you, would stay again.

Unfortunately it was raining heavily on arrival and everything in the village was closed for the season on October 1st when we arrived. No restaurants or places to buy food! The owners stated this before we arrived but not in time for free cancellation. We decided with lack of access to the pub and restaurants plus the rain it wasn't worth staying so we headed home. It was our mini honeymoon so we were disappointed!

Overlooking a busy eco adventure harbour, lots of things to do and see. Perfect location within this charming location. A must see for people visiting North Vancouver Island.

This is a beautiful, fully self-contained little place, right on the dockside, overlooking the marina. It is comfortable and well maintained. Very happy with my visit!

Lovely little place to unwind. Comfortable and clean where the hosts outfitted the kitchen with everything needed for any meal. The water pressure, which is always an important item for myself, was fabulous with extra towels if needed. Very nice touch! Would highly recommend for those looking for a quiet space to unwind and reconnect.

Wonderful location, loved it. Lovely warm open place right in the centre of the cove. Directions were a little tricky but I found it.
