Shamrock 74 is a cozy 2-story, 1 bed/1.5 bath townhome located in the Shamrock complex. Offering Ski-In/Ski-out access, Shamrock is a great place to be for your winter adventures!

On the ground floor, you'll find a convenient mudroom-style entry, ideal for storing all your equipment. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there's also a half bath, laundry facilities, and a cozy living room with a gas fireplace and sleeper sofa. Moving up to the second floor, you'll discover a private bedroom and a full bathroom.
Enjoy the neighborhood amenities including a tennis court, bike wash, covered picnic area, basketball hoop, children's playground, hammock, firepit, and easy access to the western territory.

**Please Note: Snowshoe Mountain Resort temporarily closes from mid-October to Thanksgiving every year for transition from mountain bike season to ski season. It is a beautiful area to explore and plenty of outdoor adventures anytime of the year, but please know amenities will be limited. Please contact us with any questions.
A Few Things to Mention

Snowshoe Mountain Resort is known as the Island in the Sky, providing top-rated amenities and entertainment at an elevation of 4848 feet in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Due to its location, there is no cell service within an hour from Snowshoe, and WIFI in the Village may be unreliable. Please be sure to have directions and contact numbers prior to traveling.

At Elevation Vacation Rentals we know how important connectivity is – even while vacationing – which is why we offer free WIFI at all our properties.

Ten days prior to your arrival you will have access to our online Guest Portal. The Guest Portal is your hub for important (and helpful!) information regarding your stay. One day prior to your arrival, you will receive an email with the door code, Wi-Fi, and home location information.

Pack light and enjoy shopping at Snowshoe! We’ve partnered with SnowCreek Mountain Sports and Ski Barn to offer ski and snowboard rental discounts of 15%!

*Please be sure to purchase your lift tickets and make reservations for dining/activities at the time of your rental booking.
*4WD is highly recommended when visiting the Snowshoe area during the winter season.
*There are no check-ins or check-outs permitted on Saturdays during the winter season.

Perfect location

Perfectly cozy

This property was in a perfect location on Snowshoe Mountain. The shuttle stops right outside the complex however, everything is easily walkable. We enjoyed family ski trip. Would recommend!

The reason we chose this location is because we wanted direct access to outside area for our dog. This rental was perfect in that regard by having slider door open right onto grass area. Other than that, the place was over priced IMO. The negatives: It is in desperate need of updating. The floors are slanted, and even the downstairs toilet is leaning sideways! Upstairs floors have major creeks and I was afraid I would fall through the shower floor by the sounds of it. The bulky furniture pieces did this very small place did it no favors. The walls are PAPER THIN and literally could hear the neighbors every word in the bedroom and bathrooms. There is no central thermostat but a bunch of old floor/wall heaters all over the house. The fake fireplace only put out heat for a few min, and then stopped working. Overall the place just felt dusty and old. The listing photos look cleaner and more spacious than it is. Positive notes: Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed was fairly comfortable (which is usually hard to get with rentals). Location is good if you dont care about going all the way over to the Village every day. The short walk to Tuques was fine with us. Communication with the mgnt company was good. And of course, the direct access to yard space for the dog was great. But we probably would not stay here again.

Great stay with Walter

Walter, our golden retriever loved this trip. We got fresh snow and enjoyed playing in it. The skiing was great, weather was great, restaurants were great. Walter felt very comfortable here and loved watching the deer and other wildlife from the back porch!

Amazing Stay!

We had an amazing stay at Shamrock 74 over the weekend. Check-in was easy. The unit was clean and as advertised. Conditions were Spring like so enjoying the mountain in sweatshirts was pretty cool for the kids. Even our 4 legged daughter had a wonderful time! Thank you so much!

Cute Place!
