"We did not use the facilities of this "resort", so I will not comment on them. We had to kick the door to get it open, every time we entered, it was so stuck that pushing didn't work. I took a shower and the water continually cycled from way too cold, to almost too hot to bear. Since I had to wash my hair I had to endure 4 such cycles until I was done. The walkway that runs along the doors to each room is paved with tiles. Many of the tiles are loose and therefore loudly click when someone walks or drags a suitcase over them. These clicks are easily heard in the room. We are 82 years old and had a room on the 2nd floor. There is only one elevator at the resort and it was nowhere near our room. Our room was between 2 staircases, but we are unable to walk up stairs. We had to park in valet parking (they did not charge us the $5/day more to park in valet over the $10/day that everyone has to pay). Valet parking is near check-in, where the elevator is located. You would not believe the sound produced when the elevator opened and closed. Each time we wondered if we would make it to our floor. I was never so happy to checkout of a hotel. Calling SkyBeach a hotel is a stretch, it's more like a 1940s motel."

"I stayed the week with 3 teenage girls who had the time of their lives. We felt very safe, there was so much to do & the beach was absolutely gorgeous. All of the restaurants were excellent. The Italian Palms Court was our favorite. We never left the resort. Very happy with our stay. "

"It’s definitely an old hotel. They have tried to make it into a resort but not quite there yet. They charge for the room, resort fees and then charge you to park. One of the pools was supposed to be adult only after 3 and that was never enforced. Serving was extremely slow in the restaurants. E ended up leaving Luma. We had waited at our table for a very long time with no service. "

"We had a room overlooking the beach. Soft white sand, there’s 2 pools and a hot tub! Cabanas and tables overlooking the beach. A bar with an amazing view. Great music, relaxing atmosphere , beautiful, well maintained lush landscape. Pickle ball, volleyball, kayaking. An amazing team of staff taking care of every need! They work tirelessly to keep the property gorgeous and make sure everyone is enjoying their stay! "

"Had some issues with initial communication and information which appeared to be VRBO website issue, but once we made contact, everything was good! Place was as advertised and in a good location. Will definitely come again! "

"The hotel was very nice and staff was amazing when helping us jump the car. the only negative was through vbro there was NO indication of the additional resort fee of 45 per day. I was only notified of this AFTER BOOKING and paying. When I complained the only response was that it had “now been added to the listing” very disappointed with this however the actual resort was very nice"
