"Southern Tides" is located on the gorgeous 350-acre island of Isla Del Sol, only a short walk to St. Pete Beach! This community is extremely well-maintained, with lovely mature landscaping and situated on the signature 8th green. You'll also have access to the community heated pool, as well as the spa and direct beach access on the intercoastal. Enjoy waterviews from the kitchen while preparing a family meal! Enjoy the sunrise as you sit on your balcony and your morning coffee.

Great week at Southern Tides

We had an amazing week. The condo was stocked with anything we could need. The balcony allowed for great bird watching and some fun feeding ducks….when there weren’t golfers of course. The location in the resort is great and easy to walk to the pool, beach on the intercostal and to the Don Cesar for ice cream and sunsets. Jeff was easy to get a hold of and very helpful. It was a wonderful time for our family!

Classic Comfort

I loved the classic decor in this condominium. First of all, the second-floor location made high ceilings possible throughout with tall windows that made it airy and roomy. The bathrooms had glass shower stalls and high-end tile treatments. The kitchen had lovely tile as well, and a black granite countertop. It was supplied with an electric oven with a glass stovetop and all the appliances, kitchenware, and dishes you need to eat in every day, which is just what we did! It was sparkling clean, and stocked with products like dish and laundry soap. The owner generously provided beach chairs, towels and mats. I also want to mention that the wall art was lovely, depicting coastal scenes in subtle color. The television was first rate. We loved having our own washer and dryer.

The experience was disappointing, frustrating and stressful.

6-7-2022 Unit rented for son & family 3-25 - 4-1-2023. 3-2-2023 License plate provided to owner for parking pass. 3-24 Called Property Management for parking pass. Couldn't issue. Owner hadn't provided rental information. Told to inform owner to provide. Texted, no response. 3-25 Unit not cleaned at check in. Texted owner with pictures. He responded, was unaware; would work on correcting. We found someone to clean the unit. Checked in 9pm Owner very apologetic, stated "I'll reimbuse you some money, as mentioned to compensate you for the challenge. Thank you for understanding." Told him his offer was certainly appreciatd. 3-26 Sunday, informed by security a parking pass was required. 3-27 A parking violation notice on windshield. Went for pass that morning. Told couldn't be issued. Rental information not provided by owner. Texted owner; no response. 3-28 Told to get a parking pass. Texted owner twice; no response. 3-29 Told car would be towed next day without pass. Texted owner; no response. Able to get temporaty pass to park in daughter's section. 4-1-23 Checked out before 11 am. The condo was comfortable, nicely furnished with great location. 4-13 Texted owner about money reimbursement for challenges and delay. His response: "Absurelty sir, I told you I'd acknowledge your you pay. I I just don't know the payment method ." Texted him twice it was a credit card charge from VRBO, No response. Sadly, this review should not have needed to be written.

Weekend away

We stayed here for a quick weekend and were impressed by the cleanliness of the pool and walking distance to everything. It was much closer to the beach than anticipated, which was a definite plus! Room was a nice size.
