We stopped here at this renovated kasbah for lunch en route to Ouarzazate.

They have done the most incredible job restoring this with gorgeously decorated rooms.

An older French couple own it and host travelers from around the world.

And the food - so very delicious.

This is an oasis in the desert on so many levels.

"Cheap and very cheerful; really good value for money and our hosts were just lovely too. Situated in the middle of the village so very picturesque and preferable to Skoura proper."

"We really enjoyed our stay. It is like an oasis in the desert. Very nice peaceful atmosphere, very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Children friendly, lovely swimming pool, outdoor gym, places to relax. Room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. If you hire a car and look for some quiet place away from busy town, this is definitely the best option."
